there is one guy I met that just kind of sticks around ... just when I think it's been long enough that he's gone for good, BOOM he's back. the longest streak of no contact was a day shy of a month. obviously the creation of texting makes hanging around easier. it started with me telling him he's not the one for me - followed by short answers - followed by outright ignoring - he's a doctor that won't go away - maybe it's time to introduce apples in my diet.

also, I was dumped via text message - which further strengthened my opinion that the creation of text messaging has had the most negative effect on modern day dating.

…and for the first time since my divorce, I just got dumped.  which apparently inspired me to create a place to ramble about my silly little love life and the crazy state of dating in the modern world.
