Shadowhunter lore #??? And me working out the lore here.

This means that nephilims don’t have that much angel blood in them.

Tessa’s mother was a shadowhunter + Ithuriel’s protection = extra protected from Belial, even though he is her father.

James has full shadowhunter blood from his father + a quarter ish from Tessa = not enough angle blood to protect him from Belial (his grandfather).

But in the same time, Belial can possess James because they share blood, otherwise he could not be able to do so, because shadowhunter kids get protection runes when the silent brothers and iron sisters baptise them.

Remember when Magnus said that the nephilim would always choose battle and themselves, but Alec literally said f*ck the clave and went down to Hell to save him?

-magnus waking up before alec and smiling softly at alec’s peaceful sleeping face, he tries to slide out of bed slowly as to not wake alec up but he kept his eyes on his gorgeous face and ended up falling off the bed, waking up alec, alec is now wheezing

-magnus reading a book and sipping his tea quietly when he detects movement and looks up to see a naked alec bending over to pick up his towel, drops of water from the shower running from his hair down his body, magnus is choking on his tea now and again alec is wheezing because “this isn’t funny alexander there’s hot tea coming out my nostrils!”

-magnus rummaging around in his liquor cabinet when alec walks up to him and asks “hey babe?” making magnus snap his head up and hit himself on the top shelf because alec has never called him that before, alec shaking with silent laughter while holding a pouty magnus

-things are getting Hot & Heavy™ when alec whispers “fuck me into the mattress” making magnus stand up so fast to get the lube that he trips over the sheets they’d pushed off earlier, alec falls off the bed laughing and they end up fucking on the floor

-magnus has to leave to meet a client but alec is clinging on to him, when alec finally let’s go magnus walks backwards into the portal, maintaining eye contact and holding alec’s hand as long as possible, until he steps on chairman’s tail and basically jumps three feet at chairman’s outraged scream, then glares at alec because he probably knew chairman was there the whole time, alec is wiping laugh tears off
