A U.S. Navy Grumman KA-6D Intruder (BuNo 152625) from Attack Squadron VA-34 Blue Blasters refuels a Grumman F-14A Tomcat from Fighter Squadron VF-102 Diamondbacks. Both squadrons were assigned to Carrier Air Wing 1 (CVW-1) aboard the aircraft carrier USS America (CV-66). This totally bodacious Diamondbacks Tomcat gets a perfect top-off from the Blue Blasters during 1982 carrier ops!
