my art summary 2022!Β
How two best friends met! Makeda was at a library getting her family picture done. The blue figures aren't detailed because I didn't want to focus on her family. I'm gonna do more! This is before their quirks manifested.
Hamzah and Yara β€οΈ and some dating era warning glare LOL knowing Yara she's probably reading the ingredients out loud for no reason whatsoever. A little art break from book obligatory work π
I'm pretty sure some of you had seen Reiki before, but for those who haven't. Here she is. Just like Makeda I wanted to show you her anatomy and Reiki sees her quirk as more of a curse. She didn't even bother to name it because she hates it that much. Wondering why she has that patch on her right eye? That's her quirk. If she takes off that patch and someone looks straight into that eye their whole body will be attacked with a devastating amount of pain. It only stops when she covers it with her hand or any other object. It doesn't work if she closes her eye. You'll learn the story later bye ππ½.

Also something I wanted to say would be that I'm making a romance in this au. Actually two. One about Makeda (my oc) and Hawks and one for Reiki (mine) and Shigaraki. Before I get into the romance though I've noticed that in every "How to make a good romance" video they say to make sure each character is their own person. So I don't make that mistake I'm going to focus on my characters first before introducing them to the official characters. So.. Yes that's all.
So you know I'm making an MHA AU and I've been thinking of calling it something like the Amity Sisters because the two ocs that I've made Makeda and Reiki both want society to have a more peaceful way to settle arguments like some of the characters in MHA, but I might take it to another level with them. They're not sisters by the way. Just VERY close friends.
Also I still haven't finished the series because Netflix won't let me, but I'm making this anyway.
So Makeda's quirk is called Persona she can change anyone's personality for a day to her advantage. She can also change her own personality as a facade for 15 hours.
Her ears are hidden and her hair is changed when she switches personalities. She changes personality the most to hide who she really is for safety. Even when she's around other pro heroes. Her true personality has changed over the years. Now it's introverted, shy, anxious and paranoid, but it used to be confident, self loving, outgoing and sassy.
Until something drastic happened...

Okay so THIS is what I was going for. Shorter with a little belly because I want her to have a different body type than most girls in the show. It's also how I really imagined her. I might redraw some of the girls anyway. Still proud. She's beautiful β¨
