The clock on my wall.

The hallowing sound of the passage of time mocks me.

Tick.

One second gone.

Tock.

Another.

What could I be doing right now?

Why am I not doing it?

In a world full of deadlines and schedules,

why am I always so far behind?

Tick.

Deep breath in.

Tock.

Deep breath out.

“Do something!”, my brain begs.

Still, I remain static.

My mind buzzes like a bee in springtime.

From one idea to another but never quite lands on its mark.

Tomorrow I’ll have more time.

Tomorrow it will be completed. 

Except time is a human construct.

The bees do not care that it is April.

Only that they have enough warmth to make the flowers bloom.

So, how can I be as efficient as a bee?

Piercings:

It’s amazing how such a small change in appearance can affect someone’s whole being.

Since getting my helix piercing I’ve felt more energized, more confident, and just better overall.

(Basically this hole in my ear makes me feel like a badass)
