recently I've been seeing so many viral TikTok videos talking about how daryl and jesus should've been a couple – or how that was an idea they actually considered – and I don't know how to feel, honestly. I'm happy that people are finally seeing the light lol but at the same time, I don't know... it's like reopening an old would. because even though I know how tv shows work, how queer couples are treated and how queerbating is still a thing today – which is fucking crazy!!! – I still can't stop thinking "what if?". could things be different if this movement had happened earlier? or if they hadn't killed jesus? or if tom and norman had more support? or would the network see it and turn it into queerbating like they always do? probably the last if we're being honest lmao. they wouldn't have the guts to make them canon and jesus would have ended up dead anyway. but I can't help but torture myself with the possibilities.
