But really, what did I expect when Homestuck is incredibly notorious for it?

Damara can be classified as psychotic. I don’t justify her actions. I don’t want to say that you should stop calling her a bitch, because being honest, she really is.

It honestly pisses me off when people think that it’s okay to portray her as a promiscuous person when she actually is just saying those things because she can, though. She does whatever the hell she wants when she wants, and even though she tries it on Rufioh I think she just wanted to make him uncomfortable because he’s her cheater ex. Damara did grab Meenah (in an UNSPECIFIED) place and Meenah didn’t like it, so Damara stopped. Meenah was also the absolute bitch who provoked and tortured the shit out of Damara earlier on.

In Damara’s head, this is justified. They were assholes to her. Her friends were useless and hated her, so she started hating them back. She thinks its perfectly fine because they’re so terrible. You reap what you sow, etc.

All in all? Damara is extremely rebellious and not at all in her right mind. She’s psychotic and an all-around terrible person, and I like her. She is dangerous, crude, and very crafty.

You can say she has Sue-like qualities all you want. You can also say that about basically every single character in Homestuck. An omnipotent, omnipresent cueball puppet? An alien with different-colored eyes that can shoot lasers from them, can hear the voices of the soon-to-be-dead, is an excellent hacker, and sassy as hell? A ghost girl with extremely powerful psychic abilities that came back to life after exploding as a robot (permanently)? A Libra-based alien that can smell colors?

Do you people realize how ridiculous you are? John can turn into wind and is immortal. Rose went grimdark and godtiered in the fucking Green Sun, and can see the FUTURE.

I know it’s easier to see her as a one-dimensional character, but in my opinion she has some honest to god potential to become one of the most badass characters out there.

She’s a lot like Gamzee, who was pretty vile himself and liked getting stoned, had a weirdass quirk (that Karkat hated because it gave him a headache to read), was pretty docile, and just suddenly snapped. He then proceeded to mess with the Kids’ session, and kill other trolls who tried to confront him. But then again,

Damara actually had a reason to hurt Rufioh and kill Meenah. No, it isn’t a good reason. But her morals and her thinking had been changing over time, and she was already full of doubt about Rufioh’s honesty. Meenah picked up on that and wouldn’t leave her alone, probably to get Damara to react negatively. Plus, Damara was being manipulated by someone outside this ring of revenge.

Gamzee is just an asshole highblood working for Lord English.

Damara is a psychotic and mentally unstable Time player with multiple reasons to go after two people, who made her life extremely miserable. (Who also happens to work for Lord English.)
