women of dc week is a dc fan event dedicated to the women characters! women are vastly underappreciated in the wider fandom, and our goal is to give these women the love they deserve.

the event lasts a week from August 16-22 (2026), with each day dedicated to a genre of character (e.g. hero, villain, antihero). each day has two sets of prompts associated with it. these prompts are one word long and compliment each other in pairs (e.g. good/evil, laugh/cry). there are also a few pairs of prompts not associated with any specific day. you are welcome to use as many or as few prompts as you want, on any given day. these prompts are meant as inspiration rather than a hard rule. any type of fan works are encouraged!

there will be an ao3 collection for people's works they made for the event, and any work posted on tumblr will be reblogged here. be sure to tag this blog! late submissions are totally accepted, so don't worry about feeling rushed!
