With the jealousy of Hyunuk hanging out with Inho, turned everything into a fight for his heart. What was he going to do? Leave the group or confess?

They say the leaves fall when the wind is too strong. It’s like in life when everything is too tough. In the end we all fall down to the ground and our bright colours turns into dust. That’s how Isaac felt that early morning when the practice was too hard. He had worked so hard for the choreography to fit, but in the end he failed once again. But Inho on the other hand was doing his moves perfectly. Why couldn’t Isaac be more like Inho?

Inho was this perfect guy in the group who looked good, danced amazing, had an amazing voice and most of all, he had Hyunuk. Hyunuk was a crazy Inho fan who always had his attention on him instead of Isaac. Isaac hated it more than he hated his dirty underwears.

”Okay, let’s take it from 8…7…6” Jiahn demanded while staring into the mirror. He had his eyes on Isaac who seemed a bit lost. Jiahn on the other hand had a feeling that something was off. His eyes turned to Jinsub who knew everything. It wasn’t hard to notice Isaacs mood lately. How it changed from perfect to horrible in seconds.

Once again Isaac did a mistake under the chorus of Amazing. He sat down in frustration and stared at his knees while biting his lip. He was on the verge to break down in tears this time, even though it wasn’t worth. He could hear the sighs coming from the other members who wanted to get home and rest.

”It’s okay Isaac, we’ll take a 10 min break” Jiahn said. Everyone moved towards the restrooms and store in order to get something to drink. He got up from his seat and walked slowly towards the restroom while gulping. He did not have the will to cry, not today. All he wanted was to focus and do his thing, and then get home and sleep.

”I’m so tired” Yeontaes voice was heard through the walls. Isaac hurried to the restroom and leaned against the wall while staring into the air with this slowly falling down. He was crying, just what he didn’t want to happen. He slid down the wall to the floor and closed his eyes. What was he suppose to do? Give up his big dream and go back to Malaysia? 

”I thought I would find you here” a voice said from the door. Isaac looked up and noticed Hyunuk standing infront of him with a water bottle in his hand. He smiled at Isaac before sitting down beside. Isaac avoided his appearance and turned his attention to the floor once again.

”You know.. I’m your biggest fan. You know that right?” Hyunuk asked after a minute of silence. Isaac looked up at him surprised and was about to talk when Hyunuk stopped him.

”You left Malaysia for Korea. You came here and started to study the language. You joined BOYS24 and here you are now… a member in IN2IT.. I look up to you” He said.

Isaac started to laugh and brushed his tears away. His attention moved to Hyunuk who seemed to be smiling at him already. He gave him a smile back and stood up from his seat.

”Thank you”

”You can do this! Look at me in the mirror” He said when standing up. Isaac nodded before walking back to the room with Hyunuk after him. Everyone seemed to be waiting inside with their phones in the air. There he was, Inho. He screamed after Hyunuk in the whining voice he had and Isaac looked back at him. Hyunuk smiled at Isaac.

”Okay ready for it again?” Jiahn asked. Everyone nodded and the practice started once again. Isaac looked at Hyunuk through the mirror.

”Perfect!! We can go home” Jiahn said with excitement. Isaac sat down on the floor and looked for Hyunuk, but couldn’t see anyone except for Inho who walked over to him.

Isaac sighed and stood up. He turned to Inho who looked at him with a big smile on his lips. Isaac smiled a little and walked over to his stuff when the obvious left his lips.

”Do you like Hyunuk?”

Isaac turned around quite surprised by his sudden question. He gulped and shook his head slowly.

”No, why?”

”Well.. you know that I like him right?” He said. Isaac stared at him for some seconds before starting to laugh. He looked at Into and shook his head in disagreement.

”Now you’re lying. What about your beloved Inpyo?” Isaac asked while grinning. Into looked at him with a serious face, which made Isaacs smile fade away. He swallowed and turned himself to his stuff again.

”I have to go home and rest” He said in a quiet tone. He walked towards the door when Inho started to laugh.

”I just wanted to see your reaction! You like him don’t you?” Inho asked with an excitement in his voice. Isaac nodded his head and walked out of the room with Into after. They walked home in silence and Isaac sighed a multiple times before arriving at the dorm.

The words had been traveling from one room to another. Isaac didn’t want to eat dinner which he usually was crazy over. It started with his energy dropping and bad comments getting out on social medias. But even worse was when Hyunuk decided to be near Inho all the time. Isaac wasn’t sure if he liked him or not.

”Isaac, you need to eat.” Jinsub said while patting his shoulder. Isaac shook his head and hugged his pillow. A sigh was heard from Jinsubs mouth, but quickly turned into a more whining sound.

”I’ll tell Hyunuk”

Isaac sat up in his bed and stared at Jinsub.

”You wouldn’t dare”

”Dare what?” Hyunuk asked. Isaac and Jinsub looked at Hyunuk who stood in the doorway. Isaac gulped and shook his head slowly.

”N..Not..hing” He muttered. Hyunuk walked to the bed and sat down for a while before putting his hand on Isaacs forehead.

”No fever..”

”I’m not sick..”

”What’s up? You’ve been acting strange lately”

”I’m just exhausted”

”You need food..”

”No, so please leave!” Isaac demanded. Hyunuk looked at him confused and stood up. He walked towards the door slowly with Isaacs eyes on him the whole way.

”Should I leave too?” Jinsub asked. Isaac nodded and sighed. He hugged his pillow and fell asleep after a while of thinking.

The sky was showing its colours during the moonlight. The view from the roof was more beautiful than from the park Isaac used to go to when he was younger. His predebut days were good when he spent his time infront of the big clear sky. He usually went there alone until Hyunuk found him. They always met during the full moon.

”The moon is beautiful today” a voice said. Isaac looked back and met Hyunuks gaze. He turned his attention to the sky again.

”It’s a full moon”

”A beautiful one.. It reminds me of something even more beautiful” Hyunuk said as he walked towards the edge where Isaac stood. Isaac looked at the sky and wondered what he meant by those words.

”Inho maybe?” He asked. Isaac was still jealous of him looking at Inho. And it was something he couldn’t help.

”No, It’s you”

Isaac turned all of his attention to Hyunuk instead of the moon. He looked at him in shock.

”What do you mean?”

”You, you’re more beautiful then the sky filled with stars” Hyunuk said and looked at Isaac with a smile.

”I’m not…” Isaac started.

”You are. You’ve always been that guy who everyone talked about having a crush on” Hyunuk said.

”No.. that was you. You were that guy!” Isaac said in defence. Hyunuk laughed a little and looked at him for a while in silence. Isaac looked back and smiled before looking up again.

”Did you know that Inho likes you?” Isaac asked. Hyunuk started to laugh.

”He’s lying.. He said that to tease you” He said. Isaac looked at him and then down down while blushing. Hyunuk took a step closer to Isaac.

”Do you really think that this is a one sided love?” He asked. Isaac looked at him and sighed.

”I don’t know..”

Hyunuk smiled and reached out for his hand. Isaac looked at his hands and embraced their fingers together slowly.

”I like you Isaac”

”I..I like you too”

”FINALLY THE DRAMA IS OVER” Inho screamed while entering the roof. Isaac rolled his eyes and blushed by the moment he realized that Inho had heard their conversation. Hyunuk kissed Isaacs forehead before walking in again.

”So you were joking earlier?” Isaac asked Inho. Inho turned around and nodded while laughing. Isaac smiled widely and walked into the dorm again while laughing highly together with Inho. 6 boys were standing in the hallway when they entered and Isaac looked at them surprised.

”How did you make him laugh?” Yeontae asked.

”Hyunuk confessed his feelings” Inho said with a smirk. Isaac stared at him and hit him before everyone started to clap their hands while screaming finally.

”Do you believe in miracles?” Isaac asked.

”I believe that you are my miracle” Hyunuk said while hugging Isaac.

”Am I your miracle?”

”You’re my light when everything is dark.. So you’re my miracle”

”Hyunuk, I really like you. No I love you amazingly”

”Amazingly?”

”I don’t know.. I just thought of our song. You’re amazing.. Amazing boy”

9 months had gone since the last time you saw him. 9 months since you last held his hand and heard him say that everything was going to be okay. It had been 285 days and you were still missing him. Having his face on your wall, praying every night that he was happy and okay. It had been 285 days since you said one phrase, one big lie.

”I’ll come back” you said smiling at him. He gave you a big smile and made a pinky promise. 

“It’s a promise” he answered. You smiled at him and walked off stage when you remembered it all. You were supposed to say goodbye.

Living in a different country from your idol wasn’t something you thought was tough before meeting him. But after you met him, everything changed. Something happened that day that made your heart burst. Now thinking back, you couldn’t help but smile. You had been in love with him for One year.

4 months ago a survival show ended, a show that had been going on for a year. You were supposed to be on the final but with it ended earlier, you didn’t make it. You sat in your room looking at the stream seeing him not making it to the final top. You knew that you never would see him again. That your chance was gone.

”What are you thinking about?” your friend asked as she took a sip of her coffee. You shook your head with a smile. You looked around in the coffee shop and noticed how beautiful it was.

”So how is school?” you asked. She sighed and looked out, like something was wrong.

”It’s going down.. I’m exhausted”

You gave her a supporting smile while she laughed it away. She looked behind you having a small glimpse of something she liked. You rolled your eyes and followed her gaze, as you saw someone. It was like your whole world stopped.

”Isn’t he cute? He reminds me of an alpaca” she said. You gulped and felt the heat getting stronger. He noticed your stare and smiled towards you, making your heart burst. You bit your lip looking at your friend with a stare. She looked at you confused.

”What’s wrong?”

”It’s him”

”Who?”

”Yongkwon”

”The guy you’ve been crushing on for like a year?” she asked. You quickly nodded and panicked while getting your coat. You walked towards the cashier while meeting his gaze. You bowed and was on your way out when a voice stopped you.

”You don’t want some coffee before leaving? It’s cold outside” he said. You turned around smiling towards him.

”I don’t really drink coffee..”

”Hot chocolate?”

”Sounds perfect” you answered. You walked to the cashier and looked at him making your drink. You studied him and felt a bit happier seeing a smile on his face, a real smile.

”Have we met somewhere?” he suddenly asked. You nodded slowly while looking down.

”We met 283 days ago” you said. He looked at you with big eyes and laughed a little as he tried to remember.

”Hmm.. I’m not good with Math” he said. You laughed and got your Chocolate.

”White Day”

”Ahh of all days too” he answered laughing. You smiled and nodded. Your eyes met once again and you blushed a little and tried to say goodbye.

”Ey.. Before you leave! I left my number on the cup, so text me if you want to! ” he said. You stared at him and then the cup wondering why.

”W…” you started.

”I want to know where we met”

You walked out of the door towards the subway thinking about what just happened. You of all people wouldn’t meet him this way. And you of all people wouldn’t get his number. You weren’t beautiful as the Korean girls were. You were just a foreigner.

But he gave you his number.

Later that night you texted him with the information of how you met. One little text, ended up with conversations all night. Questions about Christmas Eve showed up, and when you heard that he was working all day you smiled. You found a reason to spend a Christmas Eve in a coffee shop.

”Merry Christmas” your mom said through the phone. You waved towards the camera and walked into the coffee shop, feeling the smell of Christmas. You looked around seeing it empty. You walked to the cashier where he stood quite bored playing games on his phone.

”I brought food” you said holding up Thai food. He laughed and let you in behind the cashier. You smiled at him and sat down on one of the chairs looking around.

”Why are you here?” he asked. You looked at your food.

”I’m here studying, and I’m way too poor to go back home” you answered. He nodded and smiled. You looked at him for a while.

”So are we spending our day here?” you asked.

”Yes a day in a coffee shop with coffee” he said with a smirk. You made a disgusting look and laughed. You ate your food, and directly brought your book towards a table to study. You sat down by the window looking out on the snow that slowly fell down.

”What are you studying on?” he asked and came behind. You pointed at the grammar and sighed.

”hmm.. let me help you”

You and Yongkwon walked down the street and listened to the Christmas songs that was playing.  You drank some of you Chocolate and looked at the snowflakes landing on your cup. You turned your eyes towards Yongkwon who looked back.

”What?” you asked. He shook his head.

”Just say it” you said quite irritated.

”Don’t you have a boyfriend?”

”Not really” you answered. He looked at you for a while before leading you towards the Church nearby. You followed him into the church wondering what he was doing. He bowed to the priest that was fixing with some candles.

”I was waiting for you. Oh you have someone with you” he said surprised. You bowed and smiled towards the priest.

”He’s been here every year since he was young” the priest said and smiled. You smiled towards Yongkwon and looked at him sitting down by the piano. He smiled at you before starting to play ”Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. He started to sing, and you joined him while looking at him playing.

”Wow impressive! You’re good” he said. You blushed a little while shaking your head. He changed the song to ”All I want for Christmas Is You”. You listened to the play and heard him humming to the song. You smiled and closed your eyes.

”All I want for Christmas is you” you sang. You opened your eyes and looked at him, meeting his eyes. He kept on playing even though he still looked at you. A glimpse in his eyes was seen, something that made your butterflies coming alive.

”Keep on singing”, he said and you did what he told you. You looked at him while singing your heart out in the Church. You ended the song with him clapping his hands and hugging you. You laughed and pushed his hands away from the piano, as you started to play ”White Christmas”.

”It’s your turn, but I want you to sing in Korean”

He started singing and you listened to his voice with tears slowly falling down. This was the best Christmas you could ever ask for. You had been missing this guy for months, and here he was beside you singing with a smile on his lips.

”I had a fun time today” he said as he walked down the aisle towards the door.

”Me too, It was a beautiful Christmas” you said when the priest stopped you in the door. He looked at you both with a warming smile.

”Merry Christmas! But don’t forget the most important of this day” he said pointing up at the mistletoe. You looked up and then at Yongkwon while blushing. He looked at the priest and then at you for a while.

”It’s tradition, something you must do” he whispered. You nodded your head as he walked closer towards you. You looked into his eyes as he leaned forward. The moment you felt his lips on yours, you kissed him in a way you didn’t know yourself. All you knew was that this kiss was the first one and also the best one. He touched your hand and embraced your fingers together. He kissed your nose before you both laughed.

”A beautiful Christmas couple. A miracle” the priest said before leaving. You blushed and walked out together with Yongkwon, just not separated, but even closer. You held hands as you walked down the road.

Indeed it was a Christmas miracle. You met your idol and crush in a Coffee Shop and spent your Christmas Eve with him and ended it with a kiss. You thought about it and giggled.

”Will I see you tomorrow? And after tomorrow?” he asked as you said goodbye.

”You will see me as often as you want.”

”You’re my Christmas miracle” he whispered before disappearing. You looked after him and felt your heart exploding.

Prologue

Year 1843

The blossoms were carried away by the wind in the cold summer air. Children laughing was heard and horses were running around in the field. The sky was blue together with the colourful blossoms that danced around in the wind. A group of boys jumped in order to catch the leaves.

”Jinsub, did you catch it?” Jiahn asked as he held Jinsub in his arms. He dropped Jinsub to the ground and looked at the leaf that he held in his right hand. A group of 6 boys gathered around Jinsub with a curious motive. He studied the leaf with passion wondering how it could be so beautiful. The mixed colours of pastel pink and blue were seen and in the middle there was a shape of wings that got a stronger colour for every time he blinked.

”Do you see what I see?” the 9 year old Jinsub asked with an shocked expression. The others looked at him while nodding.

”It’s so beautiful” Sunghyun exclaimed, while trying to reach it. Jinsub took a step back looking at him quite irritated.

”Don’t you see the angel?” he asked holding up the leaf in the air. Everyone looked at him with an unknown expression, and they laughed.

”Angel? Angels doesn’t exist Jinsub” Sunghyun said while laughing. Jinsub looked at them unamused and walked away with the leaf in his hand.

For years he spent time looking at the leaf instead of playing with his friends. Through rain and thunder, he talked to the leaf that started to dry and almost breaking into pieces. But the angel was still there with a light that kept the leaf beautiful.

”Dear angel, I wish for Sunghyun to stop bothering me and for once act as a nice friend. I also wish for myself to fall in love” he mumbled to the leaf.

He was now 18 years old, dreaming about a first love and a life without sorrow. A life full of joy and happiness. But little did he know that a jealous 18th year old Sunghyun was standing everyday behind a tree staring at the leaf Jinsub held in his hand.

”That leaf is dead, throw it away Jinsub” Sunghyun whined as he walked on the meadow. Jinsub turned his eyes at Sunghyun with anger.

”Let me do what I want”

”You need help! I’ll take it” he said as he took the leaf out of Jinsubs hand. Jinsub screamed and tried to get it back while Sunghyun ran away. With a stone in the way he fell with the leaf crushed into pieces in his hand. Since that day Jinsub hated Sunghyun.

The same day hunters walked into the village searching for gold, gold that the boys families owned. In just some minutes after the boys had arrived from school, they were all dead.

”Jinsub” someone whispered from afar. He turned to the side where a woman was standing. A woman who looked like the angel in the leaf.

”I..It’s you” he said.

”No.. It’s my grand daughter you’ve seen in the leaf”

”Where is she?” he asked.

”She hasn’t been born yet.”

”Huh? What do you mean?”

Year 2011

The hit of the year was playing and carefully making everyone deaf. Everyone decided to play ”Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. A strong smell was also filling the street making people fall here and there. That smell was called Alcohol. The most people that drank alcohol was teenagers.

A group of teenage girls was walking down the street towards the big party. It was called ”Itunes Festival” which according to the apple products was an app where you could buy music and movies. People used it, but it was a new thing. The apple product wasn’t that new, but to teenagers it was. Everyone wanted the newest ”Iphone”.

”I can’t believe that we’re going to drink together with Eric and his group” Sara exclaimed as she walked in her big heels. She was a girl full of energy and hyperactivity. But she was also the girl who wanted a family as soon as possible. It was like she was in a big hurry. Be we all had one of those friends. The girl who wanted a kid when she was 15 and that screamed if she didn’t get laid by 14. She wanted people to talk about her, to be the big news. But little did she know that she lived in London which had thousands of kids.

”I’m going to get too drunk” Aleia said as she took a sip of her cider. They all turned their eyes to her and shared their head as an answer. Aleia was the girl who always drank too much and did stupid things. She thought about her doings after she had done them.

They were a group of three teenage girls who were attending the festival together. The energy girl, drunk girl and the quiet girl who never tried alcohol. That girl was special. She was the only one who could keep away from alchohol even though her friends begged her to drink it and enjoy life while she could.

”Y/N” can’t you just take one drink today?” Aleia asked when they walked towards the stage. The shy girl named Angelina looked at her friend as she slowly shook her head in a response. She smiled and bought a coke. Her friends looked at her and rolled their eyes and walked away to the guys. Sara called Angelina and waved with the hand. Angelina walked back to the group of girls and guys.

”Y/N this is Eric, Landon and Shane” Sara said pointing at the guys who greeted Angelina with a charming smile. She smiled towards them and took a sip of her coke which made the guys look at the with an unknown expression. But she knew all along what they thought.

”You want something stronger?” Landon asked. Angelina smiled at him but walked away. She didn’t want to spend time with guys who wanted sex, drugs and just a slut in the bed. She heard someone calling after her and saw Aleia.

”What?” she asked. Aleia looked at her and placed her hand on her arm as she looked around.

”I don’t want you to feel alone Angie”

”It’s okay Aleia.. I can hang with the loners over there” she said pointing to a group of guys who played playstation. Aleia laughed a little and placed her eyes on something that made her smile fade away.

”Just promise me something if I let you go?” she asked and looked at Angelina with fear and an uneasy expression. Angelina nodded and followed her gaze to a group of 8 boys who talked.

”Don’t talk to those guys! They’re dangerous and don’t know how to keep out of trouble. Especially the tall one. Be careful, okay? Don’t even say hello to them” she said before leaving. Angelina nodded and watched her leave before looking at the guys. One of them caught her eyes and she couldn’t really take her eyes off him. He was one of the shortest ones in the group and looked really handsome. He smiled towards his friends, but looked at Angelina when he noticed her looking at him. She looked away and walked to the guys who played playstation. She looked at the screen rather bored.

”Which one is your favourite character?” a voice asked. Angelina didn’t take her eyes off the screen and thought for a while.

”I don’t know.. I’m not a player” she answered. Something about the voice made her weak to the toes.

”Do you want to learn?” the voice asked.

”I prefer books over tv-games” she said and looked up at the person who asked her the questions. The guy from before looked at her and their eyes met for a second before Angelina looked away. She gulped and looked back at the screen.

”Which one is your favourite book?” he asked.

”Fallen” she answered and walked away from him. But she knew that he followed her. It was like a magic power pulled them together. She must be crazy. He was too handsome to even talk to her.

”Why do you like ’Fallen’?” he asked and stopped her. She turned around and looked up at him.

”Because I believe in angels! I believe that fallen angels have their true love in the world” she said. His face became a big expression that she couldn’t read. He looked at her but suddenly walked away. She followed him with her eyes as he walked past his friends that got worried. They looked at her before they walked after him. Suddenly they were gone with the wind. Something inside her got curious and she felt like she needed to know who that guy was and why he suddenly walked away from her.

”You promised to stay away from them” Aleia whispered. Angelina turned around seeing Aleia looking at her scared. Angelina gave her a weird look.

”Why should I stay away?”

”They’re all devils Angie.. You made Jinsub upset and now the hell is here.. You should’ve seen Inpyos eyes before he left.. Next time don’t even answer” she said. Angelina looked at the floor without understanding what she meant.

”I’m going home Aleia”

”I should…” Angelina cut her off.

”No, I need alone time!”

She walked out of the area of the festival and down the street to the subway. It was a cold summer night and the closer she got to the subway, the more colder it got. She started to freeze and looked around in case there was someone else walking the same way. She was alone and suddenly she felt something cold on her nose. She looked up and saw how the snow was slowly falling down. She put her hand up as she suddenly walked into snow. The ground was white and the snow was falling.

”But.. it’s in the middle of August” she said as she looked around. Was she dreaming? Some minutes ago, the ground was seen and the air was 18 degrees, and now it’s white everywhere and the air is -10 degrees. She looked around feeling surrounded by something, or someone. She hugged herself and walked to the subway when something hit the ground. She jumped by fear and looked back seeing the tall guy from before.

”W..what do you want?” she asked.

”What did you say to Jinsub?”

”I.. he asked be about a book” she answered and he walked closer to her. She took a step back and gulped.

”Tell me the exact same words” he threatened.

”I told him that my favourite book was ’Fallen’ and that I believe that fallen angels have a true love” she said which made his threatened look disappear. He looked at her and sighed.

”Ridiculous” he said as he looked at her.

”What?”

”Fallen angels are devil! They doesn’t have a true love”

”They’re not the devil! Why should I take this with a stupid tall guy who looks like the devil himself” she said. He laughed and hit his hand right beside her face.

”Stop, Sunghyun” someone said. She saw the whole group of guys looking at her. She gulped.

”P..please let me go” she said.

”Let her go Sunghyun” a short guy said and pushed him away. He took her hand and smiled at her.
