SMALL BIT OF CONTEXT NEEDED: Vemsyn is one of the 3 main gods in the Wilted Wolfsbane universe (aka, the universe of most of my human OCs and the world I've been working on with my bestie @lysia-doodlez for a long ass time)

HIIII! Omg, sorry I vanished off the face of the earth! I've been super fixated on my new warrior cats OCs and started a new job in March which I will be going full time after the summer, life has been wild right now but I haven't been this happy in a long time. I love my new job with all my heart, everyone there has been super welcoming and supportive, I have never felt so heard and like I mattered so much to my peers at any other job. Something not great happened at my job a week ago, and it was so heartwarming how we all came together to support eachother. I've fallen in love with this job, and in falling in love with it I have discovered what it's like to not have working be such a chore.

Anyways, enough about real life! My style has been seeing a bit of a shift! I've been working on simplifying my shapes and making drawing less tedious and exact. Another plus of simplifying my style, shading is easier, I can experiment with some unrealistic design aspects and still have them fit in, and I can be more expressive! I have been doodling Ben & Aster a ton, got some inspo on where to take their origin story and been having a ton of fun playing around with that.

Welp, I guess once warriors drags you in, no matter what you do, you can never leave. I have so much content of these guys now because the fixation has been INSANE.

This Animatic is set to premiere at 8pm CDT, April 11th! Get to know Quietflight, the mother of one of the main 3 protagonists, and her relationship with Sagepeak/star. Or as I like to describe their relationship, toxic aroace yuri. Though, if my friends have anything to say about it, they'd say it's worse than toxic lmao

If I do start uploading regular warrior cats content again, I can promise you two things. 1, MY CONTENT IS STILL NOT MEANT FOR CHILDREN, at best it's meant for 15-16+, even if I make content that would be appropriate for a child to consume, that is not what I want my audience to be. 2, all of my warriors content would be exclusively ocs, I'm not really into the canon books anymore, closest I get now is reading the comic adaptation of the prophecies begin.

I'm still slowly working my way through making a character hub for all these characters, 50+ currently, possibly more I haven't counted in awhile. I also changed some rules, these clans also know how to garden, build (including dens built out of solid mud and clay, walls made of stone and woven branches, etc), and more. I've been working on these guys for ages, like I said, the fixation has been insane.

This is Indigo's ref sheet that I was working on my last design stream! I'm so proud of the anatomy in this, ignoring the fact that I forgot to draw the hands that were literally in the initial rough sketch.

They aren't based on any particular species, I thought about it, but just didn't find one that screamed "omg that's Indie", so they're just... an indigo goat lol.

Usually, I put a bra or tank top on the "nude" part of my fem character refs (dependent on the character's gender identity, usually), but it would've covered up the scar I wanted to show soooo, rockin the shirtless look lol

Anyways, I love my baby <3 Them and their massive frog/toad wife.

Indigo? No, Indie-goat

Omg I totally forgot to post last week and by the time I remembered I was like "It's too late now, it'd be weird"

I drew this as part of a "4 artists 4 base" collab that I unfortunately don't have a source for. The collab isn't quite finished yet, but I wanted to share my part anyways!

I redesigned my baby Indigo on stream and finished a temp ref for them. I'm hoping to make a clean one before Art Fight 2025, but I won't be terribly upset if I don't. Indie's story is pretty fleshed out at this point and while there's still a lot of holes, I'm generally happy with it! Y'all will mainly get sneak peeks through different posts, I don't plan on writing it all out, just little lore drops here and there.
