I have recently started watching Girls on HBO. Besides having a great cast of characters, very real storyline, and being yet another love note to my favorite city in the world, Lena Dunham's writing speaks volumes to the generation of ladies in their mid 20s. It is something that girls my age find relatable. It is how we speak, how we are. Every girl who has watched this show adores it, and it leaves dudes scratching their head. The show is aptly named. So when I heard Hannah Horvath tell her pseudo-boyfriend Adam how she felt about accidentally being sent a picture of his peen, and how it made her feel, her following monologue accurately sums up my view on relationships. It is something I have never been able to articulate exactly, and she did it for me.
