Ken sato's first love

Strands pulled from my loose braids in the struggle slick to my sweat stained forehead.

“Fucker” The breathy whisper that falls from my lips is hoarse, I’m not used to talking, there’s never anyone around. Never anyone alive at least. The heaving lump of muscle groans beneath me. My knife bites at his neck, it presses harder to draw a thin line of crimson that seeps through the handle of my blade and calloused palms.

I can’t see his face, concealed beneath a black balaclava printed with the features of a skull. He winces haughtily as I press the serrated blade that little bit more.

“Fuck” He pants, his own voice scratchy at the edges. He’s not been using his voice, means he’s alone. Means no one’s gonna be looking for him, or his body for that matter.

The stench of rotting limbs tears my vigilante stare away from the intruder to the encroaching hoard beyond the tree line.

Stalkers.

“You fucker” I hiss, ripping my petrified eyes from the rotting mass of fucking stalkers back to the limp heap of a man beneath me.

“You led them here” My voice tense with hatred and horror at the sheer number of the ugly fucks. Stalkers, the first stage of infection. Flesh hungry beasts, the infections not fully encased the entirety of their brain leading them to have perception of their surroundings and the living. Their stench is the most potent because of the open wounds and blood that litters their bodies. Stalkers are quicker too.

And their smart.

Somewhat.

He struggles to spit out words against the serrated blade pressed to him, I hesitantly lift it. My eyes rip back to the Stalkers, their far, but their fast. They’d be here before the hour is up.

Hiiiii people I’m thinking of writing a series on this, but I’m not sure!!! Let me know what you guys think about this, I’m kinda scared because this is my first post. Also criticism is welcome, I’m always looking to improve!!!
