I secretly headacnnon that Shun's dad was the best thing that ever happened to Shiori.

A fling. A secret little getaway. Maybe they were young and enamoured with each other. Maybe they met whilst travelling and created the most memorable night of their lives together.

I joke a lot about the guy, but I also lowkey headcannon for a happier version that they were so taken with each other that Shiori would sneak out of her house at night to visit. Or that if they met whilst travelling she would tell herself "just one more night".
