lateral hemisphere: two major outputs
1) dentate --> ventral lateral nucleus of thalamus --> posterior parietal cortex
2) dentate --> red nucleus --> lateral cerebellum
intermediate hemisphere: two major outputs
1) interposed --> ventral lateral nucleus of thalamus --> cortex --> down the lateral corticospinal tract
2) interposed --> red nucleus --> down the rubrospinal tract
1) fastigial --> ventral lateral nucleus of thalamus --> cortex
2) fastigial --> vestibular formation and reticular formation --> spinal cord
mossy fibers feed into the granule cells --> continue on to become the parallel fibers --> synapse onto purkinje cells which then descend
basket cell: feedfoward, golgi cell: feedback
pontocerebellar tract - via pontine nulceus - passes through medial cerebellar peduncle
dorsal spinocerebellar tract - used for leg proprioception - via nucleus dorsalis of clark - passes through inferior cerebellar peduncle (no crossover)
cuneo spinocerebellar tract - used for arm proprioception - via external cuneate nucleus - passes through inferior cerebellar peduncle (no crossover)
ventral spinocerebellar tract - leg interneurons - pass through superior cerebellar peduncle (double crossover)
rostral spinocerebellar tract - arm interneurons - pass through superior cerebellar peduncle (double crossover)
