Ain't a scared little girl no more

"I'm not afraid of a little blood" Mikki said crossing her arms "just not a big fan" she mumbled, she definitely wasn't a fan of seeing her own blood from when her abusive ex Boyfriend used to hurt her.

"Ah" he said holding it up so she could see the title. "The Hunger Games. Jumping on the train late." He said. "I don’t know how I feel about it." He shut the book and set it on the floor. "What’s up?"

“It really is a good series Jay. I read it like three times” She looked to Jay with a sigh “I’ve been thinking that instead of going back home that I’d live in a one bedroom basement apartment with Rhydian. If I live back at home I’m gonna be contently fighting with mom and dad”

Jay laid in the couch with a book in hand. He had been there all day. “Mickayla?”

“Hey” She said as she walked over and sat on the arm of the couch Jay was laying on. “What book are you reading?” Mickayla didn’t know exactly how she was gonna mention to him that she wasn’t planning on going home when Michaelson House closes.

"Thanks…." She honestly didnt know what else to say once again to Bradley.

Bradley shrugged, looking away. “It’s nothing.”

"Okay… Sorry never really know what to say or anything."

"I’m sorry Bradley" Mikki said with a frown. The brunette didnt know what to say to the brave.

Bradley shook his head. “It’s in the past. And I shouldn’t have expected him to visit me or anything. Funny enough, it’s ended up full circle and I’m still with him,” he said with a laugh. “I’m glad James stopped by for you though,” he said kindly.

"Thanks...." She honestly didnt know what else to say once again to Bradley.

"Heard it from two orderlies outside the infirmary" Mikki said leaning at the wall scratching at her arm.

"He is yeah"

“And yet I’ve never ran into him, or seen him around.”

"Maybe you will. I dunno... Guess his busy hiring new staff and making this place a better environment" Mick said shrugging.

"When were you in the infirmary. I mean how long ago what happened?" Mikki asked as she leaned against the wall.

Bradley furrowed his brows, shaking his head slowly. “Several months ago. He was too busy screwing my friend to come visit me.”

"I'm sorry Bradley" Mikki said with a frown. The brunette didnt know what to say to the brave.

She didn’t know it if it a good sign or not that, that made her smile. “Anywho how have you been a James?”

“Good. Listen, Mickayla I have to tell you something.” He fidgeted with his fingers for a moment. “My father came back. I don’t know why, but he did. I think he’s planning something. Something big. I don’t want you hurt so salt your doors and windows.”

"What!" She looked to him in disbelief and ran her hand over her scars. "I haven't been to my room yet, expect to get clothes. I'm still sleeping in the infirmary, their monitoring me while I sleep. Their not saying it but I think their scared" She looked down to the bandage on her arm from the IV drip. "I don't think I exactly salt the door to the infirmary room Rhydian and I are in"
