I do think Crunchyroll nerfed its potential cause it wasn't even that bad of a show. Like I thought, the character designs looked nice and had interesting relationships with each other. It just needed more time to cool.

Obviously idk much about the industry cause I'm just a small creator with nothing much to show for </3 But if I were in Raye's shoes, I would also be pretty overwhelmed by the fast pace environment and limited budget to work with. Like, I know that's pretty standard in the animation industry nowadays. Still, I feel like Crunchyroll didn't give the production the quality control deserved (again I'm no pro but that's just what I assume is what ended up happening)

I'm honestly impressed what Raye turned out, considering it was his first time working on his own tv series. Also, the fact that he voiced Professor Caraway himself (cause he wanted to get a trans masc voice actor but Crunchyroll only gave them cis male voice actors to work with) was a based move :'3

You can boo me IDC. I think High Gaurdian Spice deserves a second chance!

Honestly, I've always wanted to create a series, but considering the working conditions in the animation industry, Idk if I'll ever get to pitch anything. I don't even have any experience working in a team of animators or have much experience in general TvT

So I give Raye Rodriguez and his team the respect I think they deserved.
