I just watched the Obsession movie and as a TFC fan all I could think of was how Bear reminds me of Pierrot in a way.

Bear wants Nikki to want him whether she wants it or not. He views her autonomy and agency as an obstacle and seeks to take it from her so that he can then take what he wants from her. He doesn't actually love her. Even when they're both suffering the consequences of the wish he doesn't seek to cancel the wish, he wants to alter it to make her more convenient for him. He doesn't want to set her free. You see this too with the pills. Bear knows that the only way to set Nikki free is for one of them(namely him) to die. He chooses suicide in the end (briefly before trying to back out) because it's HIS way out. It's not at all about him setting her free because (when she begs him to kill her) he makes it expressely clear he does not want that.
Pierrot is rather similar. He is delusional and obsessive about MC but he does not love them. (He met them two days ago, he feels a lot of things but not actual love. He's just convinced that he does and mistakes his own obsession and simple crush as love. He might love them in the future but currently he does not.) Despite how the fandom babies him he's a grown man that understands right and wrong and consent. And yet he too views MC's autonomy as an obstacle to overcome so he can get what he wants from them. He attempts to drug and kidnap MC to take that choice away from them the same way Bear takes Nikki's choice away with the One Wish Willow.
Pierrot wants MC even if he has to lie, deceive, drug or kidnap them. Even if he's willing to stop at a "no", him trying to use all these underhanded tactics to coerce and deceive them into a "yes" is still inherently rapey. (Remember, Bear also was willing to stop when Nikki regained control for a moment and was horrified. But then still engaged with her sexually when she was back under control of the wish and he knew it wasn't her. Respecting a no in the moment doesn't mean much when you're just gonna do it anyway once you've made sure they can't tell you no.)
It's even apparent in the "normal" interactions he has with MC. He manipulates MC by trying to tailor his behavior to what he thinks they'd be most receptive to rather than being honest, he's intentionally deceiving them even if his intentions are "good". What we see in game is NOT the real him/his genuine personality and Harlequin warns us of this.
And when he gets nervous at MC reacting negatively to his attempts to strip them of their autonomy(drugging and kidnapping) it's not because he feels at all bad about what he did, it's because it's not playing out how he wanted it to("Oh wow Pierrot you're sooo handsome and this cold heavy chain around my ankle goes great with my new necklace!") Just like how Bear is only unhappy with the One Wish Willow because it didn't give him the convenient version of Nikki that he fantasized about in his head, not because he feels bad about what he did to her.
TLDR; Stop babying Pierrot. i love him too but genuinely he is deranged and MC's autonomy means little to him. I'm all for yandere characters but we need to cut all this talk of him being "not that bad" because he is that bad.
and if you think I'm being too harsh on Pierrot, ask yourself what you think he would wish for if he came into possession of the One Wish Willow in game.

ok this concept is hard for me to put into words but lemme cook.

I think the best example of this is Eyeless Jack. There's something so animalistic about having an instinct to be protective while he's inside you. I mean, you're naked on the forest floor, how much more vulnerable could you get?
You're gone, fucked-out and drooling, couldn't string together a sentence, but you can tell he's listening. Huge body curled over you as if to hide you from the dark, head tilting to the side when he hears something you don't. A branch snapping fifty yards west. He knows its probably nothing, but he still shifts to shield you from that direction. He makes this low, rumbling sound that tells anything else in the area to stay away.
You catch him looking around sometimes, but his rhythm never falters, and his attention always returns to you, mouth full of dagger-sharp teeth smiling down at you. "That's it, kitten. We're alone, you can let it all out~"
And you do, cuz you're fucking the most dangerous thing for miles.

It's Pierrot, what do you want from me? He constantly whispers to you, is always wanting to give you things, he is practically your servant if you ask him to do something heâll do it. Pierrot will do everything and anything for you, even to an unhealthy degree Hell he even murdered someone for you so who's to say he canât spontaneously gift you a rock or something? So I genuinely canât pick a single Love language he would go for.Â

I thought about physical touch for a while but then when I went back through the game to refresh⌠Word of Affirmation just made more sense. Pierrot lives for your validation - when you tell him he did something good or are just there to sooth him with your voice, it does something to him. Pierrot will actively seek you out for validation after the shows or look for you when he's having a rough day. Your kindness and words are what got him to obsess over you in the first place. So tell him you love him and he did a good job, youâll make him the happiest monster in the circus.

Harles was a hard one to pin down but I settled on Gift giving, after all he makes his own puppets so it wouldnât be much of a surprise if he also made small trinkets or keepsakes. He knows he can be difficult and that his words can give the wrong impression sometimes, so a gift is his way of telling you what he means whether it's a conversation starter, an I'm sorry or an I love you. Harles much prefers giving you something you can keep then words that could be misinterpreted or an action that can easily be overlooked. Plus he cannot clean at all, Mop who's that?
Receiving: Physical Touch / Words of Affirmation
Harles isnât particularly picky early on in the relationship, just being around you and being able to tease you is good enough, but it's when you start teasing or complimenting him back that does something to him. Hearing you tell him you trust him or telling him how good his performances were just anything and he's thinking about it all day. LATER in the relationship once he's grown to fully trust you though, physical touch becomes a need from him. He needs you to hold his hand, to rub his arm to initiate a hug with him all the time. I've mentioned before that he isnât the one to initiate even late in the relationship, so knowing you trust him enough to do it for him, that's something special.

Doctorâs entire job is to touch you, not in a weird way but he is a Doctor, clues in the name: he âexaminesâ people a lot. So naturally he has an instinct to touch you. More often than not he usually has his hand on your lower back, or when he walks past you he'll run his hand over your shoulders when passing. Always reaching for you, wanting you in his arms. But he also knows the value of acts - he is the circus janitor when it comes to ârowdy guestsâ so he is no stranger to doing the heavy lifting. If you need something done he is more than happy to do it. Bonus: He brings you shiny things. I will not elaborate.
Receiving: Acts of Service / Quality Time
Sometimes he needs a break from doing all the lifting though, so if you take some of the weight off his shoulders? he is falling deeper in love with you than he already is. Helping him sterilise his work space, clean off his apron, help organise his records: The little things. But in general he can focus so much better if youâre just in his line of vision, he has many fond memories of conversation you both have shared just being in each other's company. Throw on some metal music and he is a very happy bird.

Ticket is a busy man, he knows it, we know it, you know it. So when he finds time to spare he will always spend it with you. Work is banned during these times, if you mention the circus and his work he is shutting that conversation down and is asking something else. He wants to make memories with you, spend time with you, make you happy - not talk about payroll and circus numbers. Bil does have a soft spot for sitting in silence with you, it's a comforting silence but your presence is enough to keep him focused. It's those moments that make him feel as if he's breathing for the first time.
Receiving: Acts of Service / Words of Affirmation
In a weird way, I view Bil as one of the loneliest members of the circus. He may be quite close to Doctor and Jester but he has so much more work to do than the others as he runs all the behind the scenes stuff. He is also the ring master, greeting every guest and wearing himself down to the bone on the daily. Take some of the work from him, give him that well needed break, tell him it's okay to take a moment to himself. Ticket can work himself so hard he forgets what's going on around him. He needs that hand to hold sometimes, so if that hand is yours and it's telling him to go to bed and rest then he will. Whilst he wonât let you do his work, he will start asking for your input or thoughts, maybe having an extra pair of eyes is too bad.

It's Jester, he loves to be praised and adored, even if he loathes the humans doing it. But he also loves meaningful things - he appreciates that hard labour and dedication people give to their crafts. Jester notices every little thing, every facial expression, change in body language - so he will take notice of the details in gifts you make for him or the thought behind something you have bought for him. He values your taste and appreciates anything you give him, hand made or not- if it was a gift from you, he treasures it, even if in the moment he didnât seem like he was interested.
Receiving: Gift Giving
He is very similar to Bil when it comes to being Busy, whilst he isnât as busy as Ticket, he still has his hands full babying Harlequin and Pierrot or making sure Doctor doesn't accidentally kill a patient he wasnât supposed to. Unlike Ticket though, he shows his love through gifts of his own. You could argue Quality time but he gives the perfect amount of his time to everyone, that's nothing special. It's the gifts and the true attention that he gives you that's special. Jester puts thought into what he wants to present to you - He doesnât do that with the others.

Columbina is a sweet girl and she loves doing things for other people. She wants to be helpful, especially to the one she loves. Let her clean up for you, make your breakfast, help clean up the home. Columbina is so used to being asked to do things and help that it's second nature to her, besides sometimes being about to take something off your plate and see the smile on your face brings light to her day.
Receiving: Physical Touch
She has such a soft spot for your touch, to her it feels as if she was being touched by an angel (get it). Columbina gets heart eyes if you hold her hand or put your head on her shoulder, it makes her feel so safe, a feeling she hasnât had in a very long time. Has a soft spot for shoulder massages too, there is something so relaxing of you rubbing the tension away and knowing she can relax completely with you.
