I’m too lazy to color her at the moment, so here’s my primary ROTTMNT OC… Chepa the Chameleon!
I refuse to show her old design, the style was awful and her name was respectfully basic.

Chepa started out as a human from Florida, who even there found herself with blood on her hands. Back then though, it was just for defense. It was also around that time she was more introduced to smoking, both already from parents and more newly her friends. Anyways, after Highschool her and a friend moved on up to New York.
Chepa worked at some simple jobs with hunting on the side. With that experience, she worked at a gun store once she was old enough. Around this time, she also developed a habit of smoking on the occasion. One day though, an oozquito bit her and she became a chameleon mutant! Why a chameleon? Remember the friend she moved to New York with from the last paragraph? Said friend owned a chameleon, which Chepa usually took more care of than the actual owner.
Chepa decided to go into assassinating, since it was a mostly underground job for a mutant like her and she already had experience with guns. Plus, now she could camouflage, the perfect power for an assassin! She has been an assassin for a long while now, sometimes in an agency of sorts to be hired by others, or sometimes just under one person.
In one of these agencies though, she made an unexpected friend (as her old friend & roomie kicked her out for being a mutant n all). A orange tabby mutant named Rita. They got pretty close, and I mean CLOSE. Not close enough to where Chepa would quit her addiction (which she was never even asked), but to where they would most likely die for eachother.
Well, at the time at least. They remained friends for a bit longer, but in the later months Rita got more…. Distant. Even started questioning their careers, to which Chepa was too far down the rabbit hole to even bother climbing back out.
Then alarms went off. Red lights flashing and people in the agency running around, looking for q spy that was supposedly on their grounds. Chepa and Rita stared face to face. Chepa had been searching as well. Rita had been fleeing for safety from her searchers.
Chepa couldn’t have believed it. Her best friend, who she trusted with her life… was the spy she was ordered to find, either dead or alive? She tried to reason of course, say they could cover up what Rita had been doing for MONTHS. Maybe kill another assassin to make them look like the caught spy instead.
“That’s the exact reason I’m against this whole thing.”
More blood was far from what Rita wanted, and from there it descended into arguing. Then the tabby slapped Chepa. Slapped her, claws unsheathed n all. Chepa couldn’t even control her scales this time, blaring a red that matched the alarm lights. Then Rita ran, leaving the chameleon and their friendship.
Eventually that agency fell apart… So after some loner work, Chepa eventually got spotted by a more possibly permanent hire. Big Mama.
Now she’s 28, her smoking had gotten way worse after Rita, and she’s working under Big Mama as a personal assassin. She’ll still occasionally see Rita, usually as some sort of vigilante. They’ll fight from time to time, then run away from whoever fell to the ground first. Chepa doesn’t want things to be like this though, she missed their friendship. It’s her top priority to at least apologize to Rita & be on good terms, before her lung cancer takes her.
