#when i'm employed i won't have time to do stuff like dedicate 3 random consecutive days to releasing some fox cubs #i'm making the most of it while i can #i am having to limit myself on the regular hospital volunteering stuff though #because it can't be a priority #no matter how much i want to treat it like a full time job #(ngl though the novelty is kind of wearing off in some places)#(i love it but the way the centre is run isn't ideal)#(it can be very frustrating and at first the joy of animals was enough to disguise that)#(but now i'm more experienced and i want to just Get On With It these things start to irritate me)#e.g WHY does the volunteer morning shift end at 1pm when a lot of the work is feeding birds #and many birds need to be fed on the hour #so when it hits 1pm you can either leave #or do the 1pm feeds #which can take like 45 minutes depending on how many birds we have #or how difficult they're being #it's never made clear what the expectation is #even though i've tried to ask #i think they rely on the fact we all want to be here and nobody is the kind of person who will leave without feeding the baby birds #the ideal answer would be somebody on the afternoon shift taking over at 1 #and they tell us to 'hand over' but theres NOBODY TO HAND OVER TO.#so u just stay.#they lowkey do this with the part time staff as well #getting them to volunteer as well as work #so they're getting free labour from the people who are qualified to supervise #why am i wasting my time ranting about something i love lol #just a bit annoying #but i'm very grateful for it

Okay. only when i prompt him for a response #otherwise it was dead silence #staring at his laptop like i hadn't spoken at all #he's absolutely livid that i asked him not to prop an axe up on the wall near the dog's bed #in the hallway she runs through with her whole body wiggling and squirming #she will wag her tail so hard that she bumps her whole ass into every wall in the house #and she doesn't even care #she WILL knock the axe over if she bumps into it #and when i rightfully ask um please leave it in a room she doesn't go into ?#he acts like it's the most inflammatory question #i could possibly ask #he's just fuming below the surface #i didn't expect him back until 6 ish but i heard him come home early #and was shaking upstairs #still very shaky now if im being honest and tmi !#i was trying to cut some cardstock but no way was i getting even pieces if i carried on with that #ffs. i wish i could take all my stuff from my bedroom there and use it here #but the house is too small #so now every time i want to sew or do any one of my beloved craft hobbies #using the huge stash of materials and equipment ive accumulated #i have to contend with my father #and it's never easy #i'm constantly stressed when i'm there so all my crafts just lose their fun #ok enough of this im going to write some cringe stupid kinky fanfiction because who gives a shit if its weird #got bigger problems to worry about

#just turned up at my dads. he isn't here. dog is though #she hasn't been walked #and there was an axe propped up against the hallway wall #near where her bed is #she was wiggling around when she saw me #and almost ran into it #i want to break something im so fucking angry #sent him a pissed off text #she's also got more jumpy lately #she's acting unsure and unsettled around me #she rarely does that at home #i don't trust him to look after her and i wish i could be here more to supervise #but he won't listen to a word i say #i'm so happy she's legally my mum's property #so if anything goes badly wrong #or if i need to threaten #then the dog will be ours alone #not that my mum and i can afford to keep her every day of the week #but we'd figure something out #maybe i will cry . who knows. its been a decent day and he always finds a way to ruin things #even when he's not here
