i could glow pink in my room if i wanted to. if i felt like it.

the biggest lesson im learning is that nothing is as extreme or as permanent as our emotions convince us they are. nothing is certain and things are always fluctuating and there are always exceptions and there are always mistakes. there is always pain and there is always love. everything is a delicate touch away from changing

you're allowed to be messy, you're allowed to fuck up, you can be emotional and stupid and frantic and confusing and weird and any other embarrassing thing. anyone who makes you feel otherwise, or who makes you feel like you're walking on egg shells, like you're doomed if you slip up, they shouldn't be such a big part of your life.

you have more time to figure things out than you may think. achievements do not have to be made “on time”. there’s so much time for success that doesn’t follow a timeline. don’t compare yourself to others with different skills and resources.

it feels scary because it’s new, not because i’m incapable

But you're still here, you're still trying, and that's enough.
