Is anyone finding it odd to see all of these social media posts/skits using the photos of Connor and Hudson in Toronto to pretend they are Hollanov being spotted or shipped in public as having a relationship? For all of the anti-shippers and ethical RPF’ers to engage this way is ironic to me. Proclaiming constantly that Connor and Hudson shouldn’t be shipped together yet they’re using actual photos of the two actors while not in character to RPF under the guise of their on-screen couple.

It seems hilarious to me that they have found a backdoor way to express what everybody is seeing in these photos - two people who clearly seem to have much more going on than just being friends or colleagues. Yet they’re hiding behind Hollanov to make these observations while pretending it’s just a joke.

I do not call myself a Hudcon truther or shipper - I am someone who is observing what Connor and Hudson have been and continue to show about the nature of their relationship, and I make no apologies for doing that. I just find it so strange that so many people are engaging in this gaslighting behavior saying on one hand those are the actors and you shouldn’t be looking at those photos and shipping them together but then using those same photos to ship their “fictional” character couple. I find the posts funny, but I’m also side-eyeing them because they seem to not realize they are actually pointing out the actors’ real-life behavior.

These past few days have been beautiful to observe and honestly, to just know is happening in the world even if we only get glimpses of it. However, it is also time to call a thing a thing.

This is not HR work-related. This is a long-distance relationship couple spending the week together.

While it appears that Connor may be working on The Bell Jar, Hudson seems to be hanging out - going to the gym by himself and posting his photo drop when Connor has to be on set.

They don’t want to take fan photos because it’s their downtime. This is a staycation of sorts.

They aren’t hiding, they’re just enjoying normal domestic things and the time together before another couple of weeks apart before HR actually starts filming again. After the private planes and celebrity lifestyle, this is how they have chosen to spend the closest thing they have to time off this summer. Walking around, getting takeout, and just being together - that is luxury for them these days.

Enjoy boys - well earned after the crazy summer you both have had!

Are y'all okay. And by y'all I mean the opps I spoke about earlier. There is absolutely no excuse or reason to go from blog to blog crashing out. Those of us who are "truthers" or whatever you want to call us for having eyes and ears that work where Hudcon is concerned, are not out here proselytizing or trying to convince you of anything. You are willingly choosing to read what we say and get upset. That is a personal problem.

Y'all always do this when we've either had solid confirmation of a Hudcon moment/encounter or are anticipating/expecting one. You start writing dissertations and what if scenarios in people's inboxes. Fandom is for whimsy, for fun, and sometimes unexpected things happen, like the co-leads of a Queer Hockey show falling for each other. No one is handing out awards for being "realistic" and having a stick up your ass, always ready to ruin anybody else's fun. Now since y'all like to act like the Fandom Police, then you can just call me Miss Vida Boheme, because I'm stripping y'all of your Fandom Princess Points.

And just a parting thought, for all of you who think you're going to be rewarded for being killjoys. Do you know what no one has asked Tom Holland and Zendaya during their current press tours?
