being non binary isnt some neutral third option for gender, its an extremely broad category for anyone who feels their experience of gender cant be communicated in simple terms like “man” or “woman”. in fact, i prefer pretty much any pronouns that arent she/her because i feel my experience of gender is essentially anything but a wonan but saying “any pronouns that arent she/her” is not exactly a simple thing for cis people so i just say i use he/him
