My tia worked with her at one point and accompanied her to an event where the Latin community of New York (who blindly supported her and probably still does idk) was honoring her as a Latina and member of the community, applauding her accomplishments. When the ceremony was over she and her people, my tia included, got into a car and drove off. After only a few blocks she had the car stop, got out and threw away the plack they gave her in a dumpster by the street. She appearently had some choice words about the Latin community I don’t recall what she said exactly but it more or less patronized them and she made it clear that it was a waste of her time. Jenny damn well couldn’t wait to get off the block. Not even taking into consideration her voice, her actions are more then enough for my Puerto Rican and Dominican ass not fucking with her.
