Remember that one time Captain Flint’s crew mutinied and shot him in the back, then his ship was wrecked, then his crew wanted to try and hang him and in literally 30 seconds, he came up with a plan to steal a Spanish Man O’ War from under a fully-armed Spanish crew with two people and save all their asses? And remember how he swam out to that ship one-armed and bloody and trailing the mostly-inept John Silver and managed to take the Man o’ War and within a handful of days had commandeered the captaincy by sheer badass manipulation?
