I miss writing just to write without the pressures of a looming grade in the distance. Academia has a way of taking the life out of voices. I don’t hear myself anymore and idk how to feel :/

In an effort to stop the brain rot black hole that is TikTok I’ve started reading the language of letting go by melody beattie and I want to use this space to reflect daily on the affirmations 🪷🫧

Why are we all so afraid of being perceived? I saw somewhere that to be cringe is to be free! I want to get off this train of a perfectly curated life where I only show you the best of me, at the best angle, in the best lighting because that is not a reflection of me. I want to rediscover the carefree me, to search for the characteristics that lay dormant and reignite them.

Having long distance besties is not for the weak :(
