Can I put a random vampire side character from a different fandom in my fic at the eleventh hour before it finishes?

I wanted to ask something maybe random. Would you say Harry would've turned out better than he did if Severus found out about him (being his son and all) earlier/knew about it from the beginning? Because I feel like Severus may wish he'd knew from the beginning, but let's be honest that boy was a mess after the war. (-"-;) Do you think he would've done a better job for Harry?

Hello! I’m very egalitarian when it comes to fanfic. I believe it’s polite to credit inspiration if you’re using someone else’s fanfic and writing a story in the specific world they created. There’s a feature on AO3 where you can even link to a fic that inspired your fic, and quite a few people have already created fics and fanart on AO3 that’s inspired by The Heir to the House of Prince. I’m always happy to have more!
