You laughed when Nick showed up at the meeting place all bloody and shit. He honestly looked ridiculous. You could only see his eyes, but barely. His face was lit up in a smile. 

“What are you laughing about?”, he asked, giving you a water bottle which you took gratefully. 

“Oh my god, you smell hideous”, you coughed to really empathize the goddamn awful smell. 

“Let’s just go”, he playfully rolled his eyes. You two started to walk down the road, hoping to find a car or something. You dreamed about flying to Berlin or seeing a functioning train (not that any of you could drive a train, but it’d for sure be a experience). 

You saw a small house and you waved at Nick to follow you inside. It was really small with only two rooms. It was cute though, and looked like no one has been there for ages. There were dust everywhere. 

“We can probably find something in here.” You carelessly opened the door to the second room and a walker moaned. 

You were stunned, so fucking surprised you couldn’t even move. You saw its dead skin and red eyes, but you couldn’t move even if you wanted to. What the hell is going on?” 

“Y/N!”, Nick shouted and shoved the walker away, killing it with the small axe he got from Luciana. He looked at you with wide eyes. “Why didn’t you move?”, he hugged you. 

“I... sorry”, you relaxed, hugging him back. “I just froze?”, you said, not understanding fully what just happened.

When you suddenly heard her make a satisfying noise (it’s wrong to call it purr, but maybe in that way), it was a shock to you. How the fuck could she be satisfied out deep in the forest? She’s barely happy in your father’s bed -- and that’s her favorite place.

You were forced out of Alexandria and you now lived with the man who killed two of your best friends. Like, literally -- you’re sleeping in his room. He’s not being inappropriate, it’s simply because “Simon didn’t want to give up his room”. 

Actually, it’s not really that bad; Simon is not bad company and everyone is nice enough. Probably because Negan told them to, but you appreciate anyway. 

You were eating with Simon but decided you wanted to take a nap before doing basic chores. 

What you didn’t expect was Negan on his bed, smirking down at your (very well hidden) photo album. Those pictures there were revealing and goddamn personal. 

“Give it back”, you said simply, taking it from Negan who gave in surprisingly easy. You looked at the for a few seconds. They were not bad at all, and you would’ve made it really, really big if the End of the World had come. 

“You have some nice legs I must say, Y/N”, he chuckled, looking down at your covered legs. “Why are you not showing off those fine piece of art?”

“Maybe because we’re living in a disease”, you said to him, rolling your eyes. You put down the photo album, not bothered to hide it (clearly it didn’t work before).

You and Nick decided to break up, and that was that. Really, you didn’t see each other, didn’t kiss each other or didn’t hug whenever you got the chance. 

Well, to be fair, it was hard to avoid someone at a boat, and it was also hard not to fall into Nick’s bed all the time Alicia wasn’t there. It’s so incredibly hard not to be there right at this very moment. 

“Don’t ever leave me”, you whispered, trying to sound serious but erupted into laughter when he started to giggle. 

“Technically, I have”, he kissed your forehead. You both knew that only death could only tear you apart, but it’s easier to say you’re not dating if one of you ended up dead. His fingers went under your chin to lift your head to meet his lips; you smiled into the kiss and crawled onto him.  He laughed, “calm down-”, you started to kiss his neck slowly. 

He moaned and arched his neck so you could suck easier. “Nick, there’s food-”, Alicia let out a screech and you rolled off Nick. “Wow, didn’t you guys break up the other day?”, she rolled his eyes. Nick went to say something but Alicia smiled. “Now, this is uncomfortable.”

“She should be around Y/N”, Eziekel was unaware of Jerry’s teasing. 

“Why is that?”, Jerry asked, taking an apple from Eziekel’s plate.

“Listen, Eziekel, you know I love your cat but I can barely go take a shit without her following me”, you said, stressed. “I really need the bathroom, please, just send her away for like, 5 minutes?”, you asked the king nicely. 

“Oh, yes of course.” Eziekel smiled and waved for Shiva to sit beside him. “You’re very welcome to go to the bathroom now”, he smiled at you, making you laugh. 

“Thank you, your highness.” 

When you had walked out of the room Jerry snickered. “What is it so funny, Jerry?”, Eziekel asked his friend.

“I’m so tired”, you sighed to him. “It was so fucked up, I can’t…. like, process it”, you told Daryl who only hummed, carefully taking your hand, slowly stroking your hand with his thumb. It calmed you down instantly. “We almost lost Glenn”, you whispered.
