Imagine the argument getting so intense they start to do things to annoy each other, like stealing each other’s material for making their drink and replacing it with materials to make the other drink or sipping their drinks obnoxiously loud in front of each other until the other person loses it (usually Edgeworth loses that one because he seriously can’t stand it when people sip their drinks so loudly)

Bonus: Simon managed to avoid getting arrested by hiding Metis' body somehow and he later adopted Athena into the Blackquill family plus there is no Phantom in this AU. (Note: Though as a Aura/Metis shipper myself, it hurts to make Metis a villain in this AU)
