Imagine, if you will

Imagine Shawn dropkicking a metal helmet, and then immediately screaming in agony because he just broke his big toe.

Imagine Shawn being able to talk to Gus in Klingon, because back when they were younger Gus had forced Shawn to learn it because he was really into Star Trek at the time. So now they can have whispered sidebars that make even less sense to outside observers.

Imagine Shawn gets a package from an anonymous gifter (you). But he never opens it, thanks to Gus speculating that there could be a bomb inside. They take it to the station, where everyone immediately clears out the moment the word ‘bomb’ leaves Shawn’s lips. When it’s eventually opened by the bomb squad, all that’s inside is a small vintage figurine of Brian Johnson from the Breakfast club (you had seen it and thought that Shawn would like it).

Imagine Shawn attempting to grow a small plant in the Psych office, except he somehow manages to kill it within one day.

Imagine Shawn walking confidently into the precinct wearing an incredibly tight crop top and short shorts (it’s for a case, ofc). Gus pretends not to know him, Lassiter does a spit take, Juliet has to look twice to make sure she’s seeing what she thinks she’s seeing, and Chief Vick just sighs and raises a singular eyebrow at Shawn.

Imagine Shawn walking into a house (that is currently a crime scene) and after a few glances around the room his eyes land on a giant, 21 x 21 unsolved Rubik’s cube. He grabs it and, while observing the rest of the room and piecing together the evidence into facts, begins working on solving the cube. It’s an impressive scene, him twisting and turning the pieces of the cube (which is visibly becoming more and more solved) as he breaks down exactly what happened at the scene of the crime, finishing with Shawn exposing the bad guy and perfectly solving the Rubik’s cube at exactly the same time.

Imagine Shawn bringing a stray cat to the psych office. And then another. And another. And another. He’s named them all after different famous 80s actors. Gus has to force him to let them go and find good homes for them.

Imagine Shawn invites you over to the Psych office. You’re there for approximately 30 seconds before the urge to clean the space overwhelms you (it’s just… so messy). Only a few days later do you realize that that had been Shawn’s plan all along.

Imagine Shawn gets him and Gus a lava lamp for the office, and then promptly leaves it on overnight by accident. It’s on for well over 24 hours before they get back to the office and find it two seconds away from self-destruction via overheating.

Imagine Shawn drags you to the fair under the guise of going undercover for the case he’s working, but for every minute that passes you become more and more suspicious of him and his lack of snooping. Eventually you figure out that Shawn has successfully taken you on a date, with you being none the wiser (up until now, that is).

Imagine Shawn trying to be stealthy and hide from someone (bad guy or Lassiter, doesn’t matter), and his phone goes off, blasting the theme song for the Mary Tyler Moore show. Turns out it’s Juliet calling him, accidentally outing Shawn to the person he’s hiding from.

Imagine Shawn being forced, by you, to get full-body henna (but really, there wasn’t a whole lot of convincing needed). It takes hours of unbelievable patience from you to put it on without messing up – him being unable to sit still not really helping – but eventually Shawn is covered head to toe in intricate red mandalas all over his skin.
