But imagine if they made the Rick Riordan books into a movie franchise like the Marvel Cinematic Universe that followed the storyline, casted actors that were the right age and the right personality and everything, with end credit scenes hinting at the different mythological worlds and big crossovers and Rick Riordan cameos
me, looking at the current state of the world, crying:I wish none of this had happened…
Gandalf, materialising in my conscience, smiling kindly: So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, besides the will of evil.
Sometimes I think about the elves who were born in Middle Earth during the First Age. Most of the continent was at war with Morgoth for five entire centuries and those who were born in the midst of it - they never got to know anything else, and many died before there was even a respite.
What can you see on the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea, a pale moon rises The ships have come to carry you home And all will turn to silver glass A light on the water, grey ships pass Into the West. A tribute to Christopher Tolkien. Without him, we wouldn’t have been able to grasp the true depth of Middle Earth’s history, and there would be many more stories left untold. The Silmarillion has always been a favorite, and has been a constant source of inspiration and a source of comfort, along with the other books in the legendarium. There are no words to describe how much these books mean to me, and no words to express how I’ll forever be grateful for them for their accompaniment throughout the years.  It always felt like coming home, reading them, to a place you’ll forever hold dear to your heart. His and his father’s legacy will continue to live on, and I’ll forever be thankful that it has been released into the world, for the world is immensely better because of it. From the depths of my heart, thank you for everything you’ve done, Christopher Tolkien. May the Star of Eärendil guide you back Into the West, and may you find eternal peace in the Halls of Mandos.

it’s all reylo this and zutara that with you fools…the only straight ship that matters is hector and andromache in the watchtower scene in book 6 of the iliad
“I would like to make a film to tell children “it’s good to be alive”.” ― Hayao Miyazaki
“I don’t think we’re born with a natural tendency to protect the environment. I think it’s something we learn if we’re educated and brought up to have the manners to care for the world. At some stage in our lives, the greed factor became stronger, and that has led us to the horrible situation we’re in now. A CHANGE IS NECESSARY, and I believe my films convey that.“ - Hayao Miyazaki
ANDROMACHE
Andromache was the daughter of king Eetion of Cilicia and the wife of Hector. After the fall of Troy, she is enslaved by her son's killer, Neoptolemus. When Neoptolemus dies, Andromache marries the former Trojan prince Helenus and becomes queen of Epirus. In the Aeneid, Aeneas meets Helenus and Andromache in a newly found city they call "the new Troy".

the thing about the silm is like. you realise everyone was always destined to fail and through the text they realise they were all always destined to fail and the fabric of the world itself is against them but they still keep trying and hoping while knowing they probably won’t be alive to see whatever brightness the future has in store
