Here is my (🤡) theory for this week, they will not show the scene where Gilbert either proposes or breaks things off with Winnie. But we will be led to believe he proposed for most of the episode, without explicitly saying it. But he will go to Anne’s house and try to return her pen to her, and she will say something along the lines of, “you could have at least rejected me in person,” and he will be like WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????? and that’s when he will confess that he actually broke up with Winnie because he is in love with her.

Okay here is my new theory (🤡 ik) Matthew and Anne have to travel or something like that to help Ka’kwet, and the stress of it causes him to have another heart problem (but it probably won’t happen until the end of episode 9) and so right before credits Anne has to run the the Lacroix-Blythe house because there is no doctor in town. And to 🤡 even more, I think this will make Gilbert realize that there are good reasons to be a country doctor. And the shirbert dilemma will be resolved in episode 10.

I don’t think we will get too much of a follow up on the shirbert dilemma next episode, because I can’t imagine Anne is going to be able to help Ka’kwet and confess how she feels for Gilbert all in one episode.
