Okay but in all seriousness I came on this blog to post an important notice to those whom still follow. And if you unfollowed (for the obvious ‘blog is on hiatus’ text in my blog’s description, there are 0 hard feelings. My Steven muse just completely disappeared for a very long time, and still is mostly gone.)

If I were to resume r//p activity on this blog (or move him to a multi-muse), My Steven will be Canon Divergent as of “A Si.ngle Pale Ro.se.” Opinions in the fandom have been pretty divided over the reveal. While I did like the episode in general. I.. honestly do not like the reveal of PD and Rose being the same gem. I feel like it throws out a lot of Steven’s personal growth when it came to his powers. In addition, this poor kid.. gemsus, he has had to deal with so much in 5 seasons, he needs a break. But my biggest reason for disliking it is because I feel like they went the fanfic//tion route with this plot point.

They still could have had PD and Pearl fake PD’s death to spark a rebellion, without PD and Rose being the same gem. Like it could’ve been Pearl involved in a ‘love triangle’ (or having general love/romance issues) with PD and Rose, but she was conflicted as to whom she loved more, and she may have felt like she had to “choose” one of them? I don’t really have details about this idea, just this vague paragraph haha.

Though I must be clear, this does not mean I won’t interact with PD/Rose/Steven blogs who continue to r//p their muses to go along with what the show has decided! I feel like cutting partnerships and friendships over something like this would be silly and ridiculous (plus I love y’all too much!) This post is solely a “if I come back to Steven he ain’t gonna be PD/Rose/Steven, just Rose/himself” kind of deal.

So this is not a definitive plan for the future but.. I was kind of wondering how you guys would feel if I moved Steven to a multi-muse blog?

Since I’m kind of toying with the idea of rping some new muses, but I couldn’t imagine making separate blogs for all of them aklsjflkjdla but this blog would have.. no more than 2-4 possible muses. Like I know 2 who I would like to put on it (Agnes from Despi.cable M.e and move my Bunga from T.he Lio.n Gua.rd muse to it as well.)

Hey guys I’m really sorry about the big drop in activity again on this blog. Steven’s muse just isn’t wanting to cooperate with me no matter what I do it seems. I think it’s due to a combination of things? Likely it’s the hiatus, barely being able to juggle 2 other highly active blogs, and possibly.. as much as I don’t want to say it.. simply not having the desire to write Steven.

“Garnet!” Steven shouted as he ran up to the fusion and hugged her tightly. “You wouldn’t believe what happened when I was on Homeworld!”

She’d been wanting to hug him since he’d returned to them. Of course, Greg had gotten the honor of first hugs because he was Steven’s father. Now that it was just him and her, though, Garnet happily received her hug. She hugged him back, trying to be gentle despite how badly she wanted to hug him, and smiled as brightly as she could. It was so good that he was home.

“Well,” Garnet mused, “I can imagine you saw the diamonds. And I can guess you and Lars needed to be particularly clever to escape. But tell me what happened to you.” She was dying to know. While he’d been gone, not even Garnet herself had been able to guess what could have been happening. She only knew that he was back now and that he must have seen the diamonds. Outside of that? He’d have to fill in the blanks.

Garnet pulled away, but not before sneaking a little kiss against his cheek. She was so glad he was home. Now she could hear all about what had occurred.

“So tell me what happened.”

“Yeah!” Steven first answered the question about the Diamonds. “I was put on trial and a Blue Zircon defended me, but she was really nervous about defending me though, saying both our gems were on the line..” That made the boy pause, last he saw Zircon she had been poofed by Yellow Diamond for accusing her of shattering Pink Diamond.

“But then Lars and I escaped on Blue Diamonds palanquin and ran through this dark, underground-like part of Homeworld. Then we ran into some really nice gems! There were these Rutile twins conjoined to each other, a Rhodonite fusion, a big Fluorite fusion, and Padparadscha Sapphire. I wanted to take them to Earth with me, but.. they didn’t want to leave Lars.. I.. didn’t want to leave him either,” the boy frowned, a hand over his chest.
