Just throwing this out there, because I’ve seen a few folks [especially in the roleplay community] remark that they’ve got vision impairment that makes reading small text difficult.

THERE’S A SOLUTION.

Aside from fiddling with the settings in your computer, where you can set an overall base font size for all your windows-- YOU CAN DO THE SAME IN CHROME AND FIREFOX. Probably Explorer too but who of us on here use that?

Just hop into your settings menu and in the appearance section you can choose a minimum display font. THIS WORKS ACROSS ALL DASH POSTS.

Some themes make it difficult--- but if you use XKit you can snag their view on dash extension and BLAMO-- dash posts!

IN GENERAL THOUGH-- if you like to throw up fancy formatting, and you’re throwing stuff under a READ MORE, maybe skip that formatting for your impaired friends? Sure it looks less fancy, but being accommodating is a swell thing to do.

I’ve run into little trouble myself. Sometimes themes have fonts that are too small-- but I try to make my own themes accessibility friendly.

Atreus learning magic. Probably from Mimir. Since the ‘head’ is essentially his new friend/pet/companion. I can see him emparting quite a bit of his wisdom to the young boy– and with Atreus’ knack for mastering skills, it might not take very long at all.

Finding books and tomes in old libraries or from the dwarf brothers. Teaching Kratos how to read like he does. Taking his time and being patient just like Fey.

Young man Atreus still being small and scrawny but due to his lineage, an absolute powerhouse when it comes to combat. He still prefers to use his bow and arrows but can handle various weapons– thanks to both his father’s training and the dwarves’ insistence that the son of Laufey be properly armed.

Due to his capacity for empathy– he forges bonds with allies easily. There are those who think they might take advantage of him, but his cunning and experiences deter such outcomes. Atreus prefers to give those he meets a chance– and does not condone betrayal.

Loyalty is terribly important to him– and he expects it of those he takes to his side. His father has his absolute trust, even if their relationship was rocky at the start. The brothers and Mimir are also close friends of his. Imagine him meeting others who’ve grown tired of Odin’s reign. Steadily building an army without realizing it.

I don’t mind it. TBH-- I love it. But you know what goes hand in hand with shipping? RESPECT.

If I have it in my rules that I ship based on chemistry, then don’t HOUND ME to ship my muse with yours! It’s rude and honestly? It makes me not want to ship with you AT ALL.

Also-- RESPECT ORIENTATIONS. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had someone ask to hook a male muse up with my LESBIAN CHARACTER. Or someone try to throw a female muse at my very CLEARLY listed HOMOSEXUAL MALE. I list these things on the character’s about page for a reason.

No. Your muse will not be the exception. 

Allow me to paint a clear picture: If you ask me to ship and I respond with anything less than EXCITED ENTHUSIASM, chances are that ship isn’t going to be a priority of mine. The more you hound me about it-- the less I’ll care until finally I’ll tell you straight up that I REFUSE your offers to ship. Period.

You’ll be dealing with a shipping embargo, friend.

So just-- be RESPECTFUL.

Here are some tips-- 

if I don’t respond energetically or enthusiastically to an offer to ship, I’m probably either feeling the situation out, or I’m not interested in shipping that pair and I’m trying not to hurt your feelings.

if you completely ignore my character’s orientation and ask me to ship anyway, i’ll know you either didn’t READ their bio, or you simply don’t care. that’s a one-way ticket to NO town.

if you harass me about ships, send in shipping memes without even DISCUSSING our characters together, or send constant anons about a possible relationship-- that’s not acceptable. i don’t care how many headcanons you have or how cute you think they’d be together. IF WE HAVEN’T TALKED ABOUT IT, I’M NOT COMFORTABLE WITH YOU IMPLYING IT.

Treat your writing partners with respect. Don’t try to force ships.
