I just now realized; Metroman is so used to NOT using his powers that his base instinct was to tiptoe out of the room instead of using super speed.

What makes it funnier is that he also could have hovered an inch off the ground and left that way, but he’s used to walking.

Man was comfy in there, good for him.

#Obviously not good for Metro City #But Metroman was probably a golden child thrust into the spotlight because of his powers and pressured to become a hero from there.#I don’t consider the new stuff canon. Megamind and Metroman being the only supes in-universe was more interesting.#Titan being a new entity with no one to challenge him. Megamind being forced to handle the situation since Metroman made his choice.#If I was going to make a new threat I’d make it a misguided vigilante who thinks Megamind is still evil.#Someone who is a twisted mirror of him. Obsessed and paranoid over taking Megamind down. Someone who thinks the ends justify the means #If the first movie was burnt out celebrity Superman and not-evil Luthor #Then the new series should have been increasingly unhinged dangerous Batman vs a hero version of Riddler/Joker #Both villains need attention to thrive and have a need to turn their crimes into a trademark show. I miss these gangs

thinking about the brilliant use of names in megamind. we know that metroman and megamind are the alter egos they took in adulthood, meaning they have everyday names they were raised under, but we never learn them. even the people closest to them, roxanne and minion, only ever use their chosen names. everything completely revolves around their roles as hero and villain. they literally have no identity outside of their personas.
