I wanna ramble about Gloria and her life before getting turned into Quiltabel and what she would have been if she lived.
So Gloria has a (unnamed) younger sister that got adopted. Gloria was 4 when her 1 year old sister was adopted.
Gloria is smart but was chosen to be Quiltabel because of her calm and happy disposition.
Her dad is alive but stuff happens and he was no longer able to care for his daughters or get the ability to any time soon so he signed his rights away and hoped.
Gloria doesn't talk much and normally plays alone.
Quiltabel was a hard adjustment from who she used to be. Her vision as I said before (I believe) is blurry so she got injured a lot at the start.
She is seen as a failure because of that.
Quiltabel was never put into any fighting tournaments as she wouldn't fight back.
Most of her existence was spent in small areas and being fed what they feed her.
Like Boxy she was used to get rid of troublesome employees but she never did the killing.
Wellll until the Hour of Joy.
Her cage unlocked and once fighting settled she did kill and eat any stragglers.
Quiltabel lived a decade because of her getting used to the surroundings, being able to hunt small creatures, having most of her memories and ability to think, and scavenging.
The awareness of who she used to be hurts her a lot.
She was 8, she understands enough.
Atm I don't think ppt is getting the happiest of ending but in one of those everyone lives aus Quiltabel will never spend another day inside.... well maybe a barn.
If they never got a hold of her Gloria would have grown up to be a foster parent and children's book author.
Probably would have found and interact with her biodad and sister.
Though I just don't see Gloria ever being adopted so she probably aged out.
People say they want quiet and obedient kids until one is a off-putting daughter.
