𝓢𝔂𝓷𝓸𝓹𝓼𝓲𝓼: How he’d confront you after seeing you hanging out at the store with your guy best friend.
Over the last few weeks, Ness had learned a lot of things about you, but there was something he just couldn’t shake off.
He’d see you with a guy ever so often.
A guy other than him, and it bothered him to say the least.
You both would laugh together often. Too many inside jokes, making him feel uncomfortable.
Alexis Ness was jealous, no other way to explain it.
But would he ever admit it?
Just to hear you laugh he would. He dreamed of that laugh every day.
And to have someone tear you away like a ripped piece of paper,
That would be unbearable…
But did it already happen? Who knows?
And he was a little desperate to find out.
You and Ness went to a nearby cafe that had just opened and you sat in a quiet corner, munching on some of your favorite sweets together.
Ness thought he could just sneak it into the conversation saying, “So you guys seem really close..”
“Huh? Who?” You perked up a bit, taking another bite of your cake.
“Uh the guy you hang out with. A lot.” He was talking about your guy best friend. You could literally make so many jokes about him being fruity even though he wasn’t.
Finding it funny, you decided to not give him a lot of information so it drove him crazy. “Yeah, we’ve been friends since middle school.”
“I see..”-Ness indeed did not see-“Sounds nice.”
‘Hopefully platonic..’ he bit the inside of his cheek.
The conversation shifted to something else: about the first time you got your hair done at a really nice place. Somehow you ended up telling him the story of why you went, which was because your guy best friend messed it up trying to cut it for you.
Ness was trying not to internally die right now. “You guys really do spend a lot of time together.”
“Yeah. We do.” You replied, trying not to enjoy the poor guys struggle.
“And you talk almost every day…”
“I see where this is going.” To his horror you smirked.
“Fine, are you dating him?” He finally slipped out, accepting you clearly won.
You started laughing, making the tips of Ness’ ears go red. “Ness we’ve been best friends since middle school! I could never think of him that way!”
“Really?” Ness narrowed his eyes slightly, the blush growing more prominent on his face.
“Yes, he’s like my brother.” You reassured him, trying to look at him with the straightest face before laughing again.
“Oh, okay.” At that moment, it seemed a 20 pound boulder had been lifted from his shoulders.
“Wait Ness.” You gasped dramatically. “Are you Jealous?!”
You leaned forward a bit on the table. “Ness!”
You chuckled before taking his hand. “Ness.”
He gingerly met your gaze, feeling his heart beat faster.
“You know I have eyes for no one except you right?” You rubbed your thumb across his knuckles.
You just said you only had eyes for him….
His whole face flushed red and your hearty laugh filled the room again.
