Isn’t it fascinating how strongly this blinds are pushed? They are confirming a certain narrative but others in the past saying the opposite have just been ignored and buried.

Let’s agree on: D is a terrible man. Of the worst kind. And M should dump his ass.

This is a life changing event which is overwhelming and we are expected to believe he wrote just that and wore that t-shirt to promote the bar. This just isn’t him. He wrote more about his jacket for the me/t ball.

Also who posts his wife’s catheter in a pic unless you are desperately trying to show the pregnancy is real.

If my husband had publicly posted me with that after my c-section I would furious.

First off, thank you for being an excellent example of the maturity you speak of in your post. There is nothing more grown up and adult than trolling blogs who post things you don't agree with and sending them hate messages via the anon feature while claiming the moral high ground. I only hope one day to be able to follow your shining example.

Secondly, congratulations on seeing the light when it comes to M. What was it that changed your mind about her? Was it her lack of job or any interest in getting one? The way she clings to D and his career for any and all sense of relevance? The way she "leaks" photos from her super secret private Instagram to her little minions so they can post them for her while she gets to claim innocence? The way her fans ignore any of her antics that don't fit the designated narrative of her being an awesome badass feminist super cool edgy but yet elegant lady but screech bloody murder at anyone who deigns to criticize her perfection? The way she turns on the joker smirk and her sad attempts to draw affection from her unwilling spouse when she notices there's a camera pointed at her and D but when you catch her unawares its a completely different story?  Her constant abandonment of her lifelong dream business to be a plus one at events she would never be invited to herself because she has no professional accomplishments to speak of?  Watching her sulk in the corner when she’s not getting enough attention or puckering her lips multiple times to beg for a kiss because “you’re supposed to love me” and then ending up with a hilarious air kiss that missed by about 10 miles?  Please enlighten me.

Third - I’d like to agree with you that people don’t have babies for pr purposes, but I’m pretty sure there’s no line that Hollywood won’t cross if it suits their own agenda and fills their pockets.  There are fake relationships and fake marriages but this is where things stop?  Sounds great in theory, but if you really think that wouldn’t happen, then I’m not sure you’ve been paying attention, especially over the past couple of years.  There’s no bottom to that barrel and they don’t care who gets caught in the crossfire.  Even after 2 years of marriage and endless wedding reminders, the general audience still doesn’t believe they are legit, so where to go from there?  I think we know...

“Just support his work and music if you can’t enjoy his personal life.”  That’s the entire point.  THE WHOLE POINT.  I can no longer do that and haven’t been able to do that for years because she infects every single aspect of his life.  I want to support him and his music/acting career, but whenever I turn around, there she is.  She follows him everywhere he goes, so should I just avoid any and all appearances he makes, even if they are career-related?  TV interviews that are supposed to be promoting a show he’s on that ultimately end up as a freebee for that trash bar of hers - should I stop watching interviews with him?  The podcast - not usually my thing but I enjoy listening to him talk about things that he’s passionate about - was fine until he decided to share that unprompted unrelated out of left field story about the time his bride couldn’t be bothered to find a bathroom at a concert and then doubled down the following week by acting surprised by the criticism of the story as he basically told his own fans that if they don’t find that cool as fuck, they can GTFO.  I should avoid that too, right?  (I probably will if it comes back, since all that wedding nonsense and the insanity to come has pretty much turned me off from listening.)  Are written interviews or articles about him and his music safe?  Nope because even in something ostensibly about why he dedicated his Xmas album to his dad, there has to be a shoehorned in blurb about the groundbreaking totally original tradition of Christmas cookie decorating that his Jewish wife has brought into his life.  Thank you so much for that.  I am now certain we can look forward to some ridiculous staged pic of them in the kitchen in Dec decorating cookies together in some matchy matchy outfits.  Maybe they’ll remember to take the tags off this time.  The R/ufus W/ainwright thing he participated in over the summer?  Why was she there?  In the room with him?  No one was going to ask her to sing.  But she’s there anyway.  How come in the first video released they are sitting side by side on the couch, not touching at all, bodies completely closed off from each other and acting more like strangers on the morning subway ride to work than husband and wife and (once that’s been pointed out online) then the next video she’s practically in his lap, pawing at him to be more affectionate with her every time the camera’s aimed at them?  Did she come solely to tell all of us that she achieved her lifelong goal of marrying a straight guy?  Not a nice guy.  Not a smart guy.  Not someone who treats her well.  Not someone she can have a conversation with.  Not someone who makes her laugh.  A straight guy.  Wow.  Kudos.  Thank you so much for sharing that special little tidbit with the world.  I totally believe now that you do actually love and respect him and aren’t using him at all.  Isn’t that the kind of sentiment that everyone wants to hear from their partner?  That’s the kind of special togetherness great songs are written about.  Wait - its not?  Are you sure?  There has to be at least one song out there that fits this situation.  Maybe D could write one for her, since she’s so inspiring.  Its no “pigeon taking a bath or garbage heap in the Philippines” but he could whip something up, I’m sure.  If there is a piece of his career that I could enjoy without her in it, I would love to know what that is.

Hi anon. Firstly thank you for coming to my ask in a non confrontational way. That’s appreciated right now. So I will answer in kind.

I also agree to a point with you. That as fans (and I’m including ALL fandom) we don’t know him truly or by extension M either. What we know is what’s put out there on SM, by his Team, M and D. We have to base our opinions on that. That for the most part is my issue.

I also take your point that nice people marry assholes irl, but anon ‘tons’ I’m concerned for you and your multiple friends trapped in toxic relationships. In my experience when a friend marries an asshole or stays with one they are usually being manipulated guilted or gaslighted. When kids are involved it’s worse because they get damaged by that toxicity because they don’t have the emotional maturity to cope.

So I do get what you’re trying to say here, but there are too many inconsistencies over the last 10 years for me to believe they are remotely real.

I never said D was an awful person, but I did say if it was a real relationship then they likely deserved each other. They don’t treat each other well publicly and if it were real D doesn’t protect her. I also said that historically if it’s real, yet toxic (as you suggest) then they treat each other horribly so bring a child into that toxic environment?

There are way to many red flags for me regarding their relationship. Let me list them and this is keeping CC out of the equation. These are NOT opinions and can be evidenced.
