Letting go of your past means to make peace with it and move on so you can grow and function as a HEALTHY human being……….staying broken is YOUR choice. You experience things for a reason. Things happen so you can grow from them/become a wiser human being not so you can use those experiences to further hurt yourself, but that is something that many have to learn anyway.

i’d call you a piece of shit for saying people with trauma are “broken” by CHOICE no less but you already called yourself out on that. congratulations.

Facts. There’s a difference of someone being scared to ride a bike again bc they got hurt the last time they were on a bike vs someone who was abused especially during childhood years and literally can’t function in society. “Letting go of your past” is a very broad statement and kind of trivial which comes off naive and ignorant asf. Some things take years to let go. Shit maybe it will never be let go of. Everything takes time and patience of you want to heal properly
