As I was waiting paciently for bumble bees to show up in my mothers front yard I tried finding the zoom and focus I would need to capture a bug, and then I just took a few flower images. I think the camera really captures the colours well. I haven't touched the saturation on any of these images. Just upped the texture a little bit and some may have a little dehaze or a cooler or warmer light depending on which I liked better.

I really like the details the camera is able to capture! It was hard to use manual focus this day due to the lack of clouds and shadow to look at the display under 😂

They just kept hiding behind the flowers! But look at those fluffy cuties though 😍

Missed a little bit with the focus here.. and maybe the shutterspeed could have been even higher?

Posted this on ilms-art instead of ilms-photos...😅 just made a new blog just for photography, and seriously considering making two seperate ones for 3D shit and drawing shit as well. Just to target the right audiences for each category.

Kickstarting my photography blog with my mothers old cat named Pelle. He's about 15 years old now I think! At least that! Now he lives as the elder chief over 2 other cats and a dog. Photos of those guys will appear on here for sure! I have a whole series of the dog Raja running around playing with us on an open field. We have just started with photography and are just playing around, testing out settings and times of day to take pictures. Also learning about shutter speed, manual vs auto focus and ISO. I also use Lightroom to crop, sharpen or adjust exposure. But I have just started using Lightroom. And between my schoolwork and drawing hobby I haven't found time to watch many Lightroom tutorials yet. But I get some time off for a month now!

After much delay, a lot of headaches and very hasty working on my side; here's finally my cave environment for my School Project. I must say, the image looks much better on my computer screen, it looks rather dark on my phone and I can barley make out the details in the back of the cave. But I will make another render for learning purposes once I'm finished with my last two weeks of school, in the middle of the first of the last two now so, it wont be long till I can go back and rework some of the things. Some of the textures could be better and more visible, also I think I messed up one of the mushroom materials, they aren't supposed to look like ghost-shrooms 😅 and there's a lot about the water and light I could do a lot better given more time to experiment with it. I had to get this rendering asap, so water and lights is the 2 things I spent the least time on here.

But all in all I am very happy with my cave! It got the exact mood I was going for! And the water reflections are just beautiful! I was stunned when watching the render of that effect unfolding. Exiting to do so many new things in the programs! 😁

Programs used: Zbrush, 3D Studio Max, Substance Painter and rendered with Arnold.

First year of school comming to a slow ending because of my appendix that burst in May, so that I got an extention to my delivery dates. I'm not THAT sad about it, I would have spent most summer on my computer learning more 3D related stuff before entering my second year in Game Development anyway. But now I have delivery dates still, which I wouldn't have had if my appendix could just stay intact.... 😂 damn that useless piece of internal organ 😆

Testing glow effect on my mushrooms for my student project! (Completely without textures yet, since I'm not done sculpting)

Guess who's back from the hospital and ready to keep going with her schoolwork?! Feels good to be home. I've been chiling for a few days almost played through the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my good old nintendo 64! 😅 Good times! I am at my favorite boss in the game now 😁

Will probably post mostly 3D stuff and digital art I do on my spare time. I practice some in photoshop, but because og my antibiotics I haven't been able to sit for long at a time and I haven't finished anything yet. (For some reason I got nauseous and dizzy from staring at my computer screen for too long while on my antibiotics)

The stitches of my appendix wound will be taken out tomorrow. Yay! I feel almost like normal again and will hopefully start posting daily again soon 😄

This mushroom, shown in diffrent angle and sizes, I sculpted in Zbrush, it's not entirely finished yet, I want to add more details to it, I was just too eager to test the glowing effect on it to wait till I finished it 😅 I have other mushrooms in the making too, I am trying to create some variation for my cavern scene. (See earlier post) 😋

I didn't have much time on this sketch. But either way I think it turned out well, it communicates what I'm going to create. It's gonna look hella lot better in 3d 😄😅 I hope... 😅 This is the reference image I am creating my 3D environment from.

It's my student project, one of my final deliveries this year. Obviously I didn't put any time into the coloring scheme and lights in the sketch. The only colors I used was to indicate where my light sources would be and where the water is. This sketch was to be delivered together with a detailed time schedule and a written workplan for the 3 weeks we have to work on this. I am blocking out the shapes inside 3D studio max now and I will start sculpting details later today or tomorrow 😊

Finally got time to draw again 😍 it's probably gonna get even harder to find time as I move into the last weeks of school. There's 3 huge deliveries before summer break in june, one of them being a full 3 week project of our choice, which starts next week! Eek! Allready started planning it (on teachers orders) while I film my own video references for the animation I'm creating for THIS weeks assignment!
