DO YOU GUYS NOT REALIZE THAT THE FATE OF SOCIETY AND THE HUMAN RACE IN GENERAL IS BASED ON THE FACT THAT WOMEN MOSTLY CHOOSE TO GET PREGNANT? FOR LITTLE TO NO REWARD?! THE UNITED STATES ONLY GIVES 12 UNPAID WEEKS OF MATERNITY LEAVE ON AVERAGE. 

YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE FUCKING PROCESS BY WHICH OUR POPULATION CONTINUES TO GROW WOULD BE FUCKING REWARDED AND CELEBRATED, NOT SWEPT UNDER THE FUCKING RUG LIKE A PIECE OF FUCKING DUST.

On other notes of pregnancy, it is certainly very uncomfortable. I didn't have the worst pregnancy in the world. My symptoms were mild compared to other women's, but I did have to pee a lot and let's talk about "morning sickness". Some have it during their first trimester, some have it during their whole pregnancy, and others don't get jack shit the lucky bitches! It does not come during the morning. This shit goes all fucking day long! Yes, there are pills you can take, but I have heard from my friends that the pills are so nasty (just like your prenatal pills! Ew!) that they end up puking those up, too. And I will also address here that in your second trimester, you have to take a diabetes test. This means that you have to chug a 50 gram bottle of pure sugar fluid in less than 5 minutes. It makes you nauseated, light-headed, and you have to keep that shit down until they test you for it over an hour later. And those things are nasty!

There's also a cervix check when it comes closer to your due date and maaannnnn does that hurt! By the time you're in your last two months, you already have the pressure of the baby pushing downwards. Think about that for a second: 7 lbs, maybe 8 or 9 (or in the case of my friends 10 - 10.5 lbs), of baby weight + amniotic fluid all gathering toward that tiny, tiny hole between your legs.

During the entire pregnancy, you will cry like a little fucking baby at everything or become a hard-ass or a raging maelstrom of hormones. I kid you not, ladies, pregnancy is hard. And many, many, many women have to work during the entire 40 weeks. It seems like nowadays it's a trend to get pregnant in high school (not shaming anyone, just saying!) and I don't understand why. Pregnancy sucks, it's true, but I will promise you as a mother that it is worth it...as long as you are willing to take responsibility for the life of the extremely needy and completely helpless human being you have just created.

And if you’re actually worried about things like ethics, look into the food industry as a whole. Holy fuck. The high-priced organic vegetables you pay for? That part of the industry has dozens of human rights violations every year. Seriously, a quick Google search will show you the shit that happens and isn’t even all that uncommon.

Do you really care about the cows more than the immigrant workers who often have no choice but to pick your food for you? Or, if we’re arguing that the only thing that matters is death (which makes you a callous person), why are the cows so much more important than the smaller animals who are killed by the wheat threshers? You have blood on your hands the same as us meat-eaters. It’s cool if you still want to avoid meat, but shut the fuck up about it.

I’m not going to get into the whole argument all the way since most of what I would say has already been said. Unless of course you want me to get into the whole plants are alive to and you pretty much are eating something alive, which I will direct you to the whole vegan debate I got into a couple months back. And before you say no they aren’t alive or aren’t sentient beings like animals, one I’m an Animist, I believe everything has a spirit from rocks to the rain. Second, it has been proven that plants though they don’t have nerves like animals or a brain they can operate by themselves and do produce electric and chemical signals when they are harmed or in distress similar to animals.

I choose to eat meat because it’s the cycle of life. Everything feeds and depends on another living thing both plants and animals. The meat my family and I eat are all from local farms and raised in a humane way. I honor the death of both animal and plant that I consume to give me energy.

Have you ever stopped and thought the fact that a different person’s circumstances may not allow them to be vegan or vegetarian? OR THAT SOME PEOPLE FUCKING LIKE MEAT. AND CHEESE AND MILK AND ALL THAT STUFF. WE LIKE IT AND WE LIKE EATING IT. Humans are omnivores, you know.
