Working out how to present my final print series proved a difficult challenge due to the collective size of the set, and the fact i wanted to present them in a line instead of in columns etc. With it also being hand-in week, most of the wall spaces in St Georges were taken up by fine art students. I found one empty corridor and although it wasn’t long enough to fit all 11 of my prints, i managed to get 9 in a row to at least show what it would look like if i did something similar for the graduation show. Finally seeing them as i imagined was very fulfilling, and for a change i am rather proud of what i have achieved after the tough time i had thinking of an outcome that i felt pushed my ideas far enough. Although there are aspects i would change (like the paper size bigger, and potentially on fabric next time); with the limited funds i had to produce an outcome i feel i did a successful job at communicating the intrigue and curiousness that surrounds the sublime experience. Unlike past projects, i do not see this as the end of the line and i genuinely look forward to next term to expand my concepts and ideas within my practice.

Final publication

The AOI does seem very inviting and it will be on my list of things to do when i graduate.
