Tonight the East Los Angeles Woman's Center held their 18th annual vigil for Domestic Violence. It was so empowering to hear survivors stories and becoming advocates to #breakthesilence. 1 out of 4 women and 1 out of 7 men become victims of #domesticviolence. #dvam (at East Los Angeles College)

Stop. Drop, meditate and listen🎶 (I'm singing 🎤 this in the tune of Vanilla Ice Ice Baby) I use to get embarrassed to mediate. At my old job I would go to my car on my breaks when I first started my practice. I didn't want people to look at me or judge me. The interesting thing happened the more I went inward the less I cared for the outward approval. There doesn't need to be a huge ritual, or a special place. Sure, it's nice to have your space but life gets hectic and unexpected things happen. All you really need is a place to sit still for a few moments to collaborate and listen. 😉 #spiritjunkie
