A hard black hat case painted with white skeletons and skulls used by Madonna as luggage in her first major film role playing Susan in Desperately Seeking Susan (Orion Pictures, 1985). In the film, Madonna secures the hat case in a locker and later returns to find it missing. The case contains miscellaneous props used in the film including a pair of rhinestone drop earrings, a single leg warmer, a green comb, an almost-empty pack of Camel cigarettes, and some utensils. The case has a pink jacquard satin interior with additional side pocket compartments, two closures on the sides, and a front broken lock. There is a Hollywood postcard glued on the inside lid, as well as an Atlantic City, New Jersey, souvenir and two stickers with funny phrases. Accompanied by a copy of the film.
