not only matty b was there but pat brisson’s (mack’s agent) son was there too. with how these two are nearing borderline codependency disorder, i wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case. the sharks are definitely curating will and mack’s new contracts to perfection or else it’ll be a case of hit or miss and the wacklins have to make sure that they get what they want and by want, what they both want as a unit in the long run. and a part of my mind palace wants to believe that mack (lets be real mack has the upperhand and benefits of being the face of the franchise and the generational 1oa that he is) is waiting for will’s new contract to see what he can do or adjust because he wants to be on par with will.

not sure if helpful or interesting but they don’t arrive with or leave with their gear. every other pro guy i’ve seen arrives with their gear but mack stashes his bag in a side room and it looks like those [princess] privileges have extended to will. so if matty was holding sticks they likely weren’t will’s since his stay at the rink. unless of course training is over and will was taking his gear 🤷🏼♀️ i haven’t seen the photo in question

in the sense that will, by virtue of his background, of his gender expression, of his hobbies, of his appearance, often comes across as something soft. something vulnerable; a lamb amongst wolves. everyone knows what will looks like. what he chooses to look like. long hair, smitty; you look like a girl. you like getting on your knees for real men, six? who'd you suck off to get in here. and like. everyone gets knocked around in the locker room. it's part of the culture. but nobody in the program was calling gabe girly. nobody at bc was asking leno if he liked to take it raw.
it doesn't matter that will isn't even feminine. doesn't matter that he isn't gay, either. the funny thing about this sojourn in north van is that we will probably hear more about it, but its gonna be from a random hockey player making fun of them on a podcast four months from now like "I trained with them over the summer and they were talking about going to some lake, but when I asked to come they said I wasn't invited," or there's gonna be an in-depth feature article on mack next year with a quote from rick like "I've never seen Mack happier than when Will came to visit this summer, and that bond is so important" (bc he can't help but overexpose mack's emotions)
we always get more tidbits of details, but not from them!!! things we found out from other people: dinner book (source: podcast bros), them sneaking into cat's office together for Podcast Part 2 (source: Cat), they spend 8 hours together even when Will's dad was visiting (source: Will's mom), Will is Mack's balance (source: rick), they facetime all the time when they are apart (source: I think was Toff), etc. etc.
