anyway! grey lore snippet:

grey hated the idea of being the orange ninja bc he hates the color and also bc of how much it limited his stealth capabilities

he doesnt wish he to be orange but sometimes he wonders if he never changed colors maybe ppl would remember him better

(I did like the panda but it seemed uncohesive with his design and the rest of the ninjas emblems)

(The frog was too hard to design w bc of its simplicity- same w penguin)

(I liked the squid but it seemed too close to jay’s)

Grey sorta struggles with an inferiority complex and for a while was very frustrated about getting ignored

Bc of this when Lloyd first got taken in by the ninjas and was pulling pranks on them grey secretly joined in too

When the ninjas never found out what he was doing, crediting his behavior to lloyd, it made grey realize this was something he could get away with. He then left, going and causing mischief in various villages (both in a way to prove himself but also bc he was hoping it would get him noticed)

This continued until tomorrows tea

When lloyd got aged up and started trying to properly act as the leader in the team grey got embarrassed, he layed low for a bit before and quietly returned to staying w the ninjas, shutting himself away in his room. Ashamed of his actions and guilty that he (literally) couldn’t own up to them he made sure to not make any contact w the ninjas. After Zane’s “death” he tried becoming a streamer- flopped terribly and then went to the tournament of elements

They didn’t realize that he actually came to the tournament of elements and gave someone else his room. Grey then awkwardly slept outside where he was found alseep during one of the competitions and dragged to the dungeon.

if we can't tell, hes the grey ninja- when he first started training under wu, he was supposed to be the orange ninja but bc he specializes in stealth and orange clashes w that too much he got redubbed the grey ninja

hes the master of fog and uses a bo staff for combat

lore wise he got too good at stealth and wu forgot he even trained him and noone really notices when hes around
