Here is my entry for the #iKnitForEddie contest. Thank you so much for the opportunity to support such an amazing and inspiring movie!

The yin to the yang, it’s everything at once.  The plug in the socket, electrified, this E has gone big.  Jumping from the familiar form of a letter penned between the lines into the domain of a national flag flying in the wind. This E is not silent. 

Knit flat with a sassy picot edge at the brim; the red E and its white intarsia partner stand tall from brim to crown and repeat to make the hat bilaterally symmetrical.  Inscrutable graphic surprises of bold color blocking challenge you to put it on the same way twice.

Knit with love for my daughter Eva, the embodiment of energy and enthusiasm. 

Knitting Fair Isle is nothing compared to ski jumping. Eddie inspired me to try stranded colorwork for the first time, and here is the result. As with most things, deciding you can do them is more than half the battle. Thank you for the inspiration! (Thank you, Emily, for being my hat model!)
