Hey you guys, it’s me, Ike Eats! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I’ve reviewed a restaurant in our ever-growing and thriving foodie scene in Little Rock. Thankfully, the scene didn’t wait on me and kept innovating our city. This week, I went to A&W Lin’s and it was pretty good. While I was there, I enjoyed talking with owner, Lin-Manuel Amanda. He told me that all the food is from Asia and they cook it in that style, too. But there’s a twist. Every single dish incorporates A&W Root Beer which SOUNDS kind of gross, but it wasn’t. I really liked it. A&W Lin’s is now open and has been for 30 years. Go check it out!

Hey guys, I’m back in Little Rock and ready to catch up on all the foodie stuff that has happened since I’ve been gone. And apparently there’s a lot! There’s a growing and thriving community called East Village that has...get this...BREWERIES! And you know what that means: the millions of trendy, young professionals of Little Rock FINALLY have a place to go and just be themselves and have a cold one. But today’s restaurant, Soul Fish, is not in the East Village. It is in The Creative Corridor, which is another name that has been used and adopted by the locals there for hundreds of years. And boy oh boy does that name work. This seafood place tasted really good, and that’s because of how creative it is. My only complaint was the large EATS letters. Shouldn’t it be EATING since that’s what you’re doing? Anyway, you should go eat there. 

The food was pretty good. And so was the ambience. I’ll definitely bring my family and friends next time.

Anyway, I ate at Table 28 before I left and it was pretty good. I talked to the owner, Linda 28, and she told me all about how she had trouble coming up with the name. “When I think of restaurants, I think of tables. So I just took that and my last name,” she explained. Pretty straight forward – just like the food. And by straight forward, I mean delicious!

All the food is local, even the fries. It was really good and I’ll definitely come back one day. It’s also located in the SoMa district which is a combination of the words South and Main. People shortened it because of how long it takes to say South Main and because of how intimidating it is to get around the city. You know what wasn’t intimidating? Eating the food here. 

The pizza is really good here, especially the stuffy crust. Don’t let the name confuse you, though. They’re just being clever. You know how pies are usually for dessert? Well, their pizza is so good, it’s like you’re eating dessert. 

This place has been around for a while and you’ll find out why when you taste their food. But they let you have more than a taste, so you should order and then eat one of the meals from their menu. It’s a good Chinese restaurant. 

Here, you can eat outside if you want. Sometimes I like to eat outside, but I didn’t on this day because when you eat alone, sometimes people that are walking by yell things at you. So I stayed inside. It was nice inside and the food tasted good. Hope to get invited back!

I had a pizza with egg on it. Normally eggs are for breakfast, so I thought they gave me the breakfast menu by mistake. But nope, it was the full menu. The food was pretty good. 

ZAZA stands for Zippy And Zesty Always, so my expectations were high. I had a pizza and a salad and they were both really good.

My foodie friends talk about Local Lime all the time. I went there and had the food and it was good. The hostess used an iPad so that was pretty cool.

The food tasted pretty good. Their name is fun because it’s a combination of the words “gourmet” and “asian” and “south” and “northern.” So they’re saying they’re the best of both worlds. 

At Cache, you can eat outside. I decided to do that. The food was good, but I didn’t have a drink with my food this time. I waited until after, and the drink was good, too.

I had this when I went there. It tasted pretty good. Also, I had a drink and it was pretty good, too. As you walk up to the restaurant, you think it’s a house. But then you get closer and you’re like nope, that’s a restaurant.

I liked the food here, and the drinks were good, too. Sometimes I drink with my food, but sometimes I drink before I eat. This time, though, I drank with my food. Also, Whoopi Goldberg owns this restaurant.

I ate some of the tamales and they tasted pretty good. They have a big sign that says Hola on the wall.

Sometimes I drink beer when I eat. This beer was good, and so was the food.
