The 1836 Club

Hey everyone! I know it’s been a while since writing. I’ve just been so deep into the NWA foodie scene, I haven’t been able to get down to Little Rock to try all the new hot spots.

That was until I received a very special invite for The 1836 Club. It’s partly owned by super famous chef, Donnie Ferneau. And if I Fer-know Ferneau, it’s bound to be a yummy place for all of Little Rock!

The 1836 Club is a new, themed-restaurant. The theme is “pretend that you’re important and people know who you are.” So dress accordingly, because boy oh boy is everyone committed to this theme! Even the patrons!

The food was pretty good. And so was the ambience. I’ll definitely bring my family and friends next time.

It’s been a while because I moved away from Little Rock. This sucks because I found out it’s the only place in the world with a foodie scene. So I don’t know what I’m going to do.

Anyway, I ate at Table 28 before I left and it was pretty good. I talked to the owner, Linda 28, and she told me all about how she had trouble coming up with the name. “When I think of restaurants, I think of tables. So I just took that and my last name,” she explained. Pretty straight forward – just like the food. And by straight forward, I mean delicious!
