Now this is my kinda winter

So apparently Shane's dad has a bigger mouth than we thought

Funny story: My brother Tim bought his car from a police officer and after they looked at the car they realized that it's a police officer that gave Tim a ticket not too long ago. They still bought the car.

Me and jake went to Walmart this evening to get new winter boots as his old ones have suddenly decided to try to eat his foot every time we attempt to remove it so anyways I got super sidetracked walking past the baby department and bought the whole section, jk but I went way over budget for a baby shower gift but it's for my nephew so I think i will make an exemption. I got a baby book, teething toy, baby hair brush/comb set, 2 outfits, 1-12 month old shirt sticks, bids, stacking toy and a baby tooth/gum brush but it adds up so fast.

I need to stop googling the actors on Gilmore Girls because I keep finding out information that I don't want to know yet.

Shane and Jason are both sick and they are acting like identical twins. They were both fine yesterday (other than some mild cold symptoms) then they both woke up sick this morning and texted me. Jason asked me to bring home orange juice and NyQuil so when I got home they both took some NyQuil and lazed around all day and then at 6:00 I walked past Jason's room and he was asleep then I walked past Shane and he was asleep too. Twins.

Mel and Andrew decided to start potty training Rori this week....finallyyyyyy! The first few days were rough and she made little progress but today was her breakthrough day. She's had the bladder control for a while but now she knows what to do, when to do it and what her reward is and it's totally working, she's rocking it. She's 3 years old so it's about time! Better late than never. Lol a few months ago when I was researching how to potty train a strong willed stubborn 3 year old I read something along the lines of "have you ever met a kindergartener who is not potty trained?" Pretty much no, so that's when I realized that it doesn't matter, I don't care if she's 3 years old and still wearing a diaper 24/7, it will happen eventually and not to mention she's not even my child so I have little control anyway. But I think today is finally that day that I've been waiting for for a looooong time. The trick was everyone had to be on board and we are so it's happening!

I wish I could take in my nephew Jordan. My heart aches for him. I'm too far away so nothing I do will make a difference in his life but next time I see him I'm gonna find a way to contact him after we leave.

Everyone thinks E.T is such a good movie, even my mom. But every time I try to watch it I lose interest.

Jake lost a tooth; hopefully the tooth fairy won't forget about him this time 😂

I have 2 dogs that love to play and love to cuddle but not with each other, with humans.

I met/held baby Jackson on Monday. No photo evidence but it happened and it was amazing.

Shane is officially severely allergic to almonds, pine nuts (?) and hazelnuts. He has an epipen.
