Lay back and listen to the rhythm of my soul, I’m trying not to worry about things out of my control.

The older I get, the less things are interesting, Peace is what I’m creating and soliciting.

I got to be more concerned with me, Reaping what I sew, routinely watering my tree.

Painting a pretty picture isn’t my motive, But actually living in one is, and my struggles I’ll take note of.

Mainly because they play a major part of who I am, How you respond to every day life is like an exam….

Or test Even the thoughts you manifest Can turn your day around and you simply forget you’re blessed.

Trying to break out of the habit of planning for and expecting the worst, A simple mechanism for preventing myself from being hurt.

I know what I deserve but instead of chasing it, I selfishly think it should find me, Trying to put it all together but the instructions are all in Chinese.

I let the river of my thoughts flow, Then the rain came, it was foul, and I missed my free throw.

I easily get sad and no doubt that needs to be fixed, I will always search for my sunshine hidden in the midst.
